669573 Hello, if anyone would like to talk about a specific author's books, please let me know and I'll create a shelf. We seem to have a running commentary on a few already.

If you feel more comfortable going to the general discussion, that's fine, too.

I've been adding romantic suspense books to our group, but we are missing a lot of them. Please, feel free to add romantic suspense books to our group. Just mark them in the "read" folder when asked as I don't forsee this group reading a book together.

Or post a comment/note and I'll be happy to add them for you.

Thank you!

886675 Hi,

You just named almost all of my favorite romantic suspense authors! I also enjoy reading Cherry Adair, Linda Howard, Catherine Mann, and Shannon McKenna. I also loved "Die For Me" by Karen Rose and I'm looking forward to her next one, I think called "Scream For Me"? I will be starting Beverly Barton's latest, "The Murder Game" this week, I'll let you know what I think of it.

669573 Hi Auntee,

I started "The Murder Game" and it is part two of a trilogy. I thought I would just continue reading it, but dang it, the killer in it is also the killer in "The Dying Game" which is the first one. I put it down and the next time I went "out" ran around to various bookstores to find "The Dying Game." No luck.

I did buy all of Cherry Adair's books I could find. I have not read any of hers.

I have not read Linda Howard, Catherine Mann or Shannon McKenna, but now that you gave me some new authors, I can look for them. Please feel free to add books to this group so we can all find those hard to find Romantic Suspenses.

Welcome! Oh, I loved "Die for Me." It was an intense book. Her next book is coming out in hardback, so she must be doing well in the "sells."

669573 Something happened to all the posts in the Favorites/Recommendations folder. I'm getting an error message.

I've read others--occasionally--having this happen, in the GR Feedback Group, and it corrects itself in the nightly update(s).

If it's still missing in the morning, I'll post a note in the Feedback Group about it.

Kathrynn

If you have any questions about the site, please feel free to post here and we'll help you out.

Welcome!

1457525 Hello -- I am also new to the group and just clumsily finding my way around. I am a writer as well as a reader and I have a question about that. Am I allowed to mention my own new romantic suspense in the discussion about new Fall releases ?

message 9: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Welcome Allyson,

You certainly can--as long as it is a romantic suspense...

We also have an "Author's Spotlight" section for you and other author's to write whatever they would like about themselves or their books.

Group Topics tend to vanish off the main home page if not used in awhile, so to see all the topics, please click "all" right on top of the General Folder.

Look forward to hearing about your book(s)!

2595726 Hello there, I was looking at the list of authors you have and was wondering if anyone read Nora Roberts or Lisa Jackson? I didn't notice them listed as a topic...

message 11: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Hi Annie,

If you know of any Nora Roberts or Lisa Jackson books that are romantic suspense, please feel free to start topics. I've read a few Nora Roberts, but none of them would qualify for romantic suspense. Haven't read any Lisa Jackson ...that I'm aware of.

Do you have some suggestions for the group? :-)

946249 Nora Roberts's single title releases are generally considered romantic suspense, but just of a less intense variety.

Annie, if you are looking to talk some Nora, check out the Nora Roberts group. We've got tons of discussions there.

re: Lisa Jackson...I've only read one book of hers and it was hardly a romance, so I don't know about the others.
