Nophoto-f-25x33 This book showed me how easy it is to make vinegar. I recommend that as first fermentation project. You get to use stuff that ordinarily goes into trash or compost.

805734 I recently purchased Wild Fermentation by Sandor Katz and just love it! It is filled with simple instructions, hints and recipes. One of my first attempts was creating 'Dosas': a rice, lentil and yogurt fermentation which is then cooked like a crepe. It has become one of my fave dishes!
