1785946 I just started getting into some chick lit. What are some of your favorites? Maybe a top five list?

1518370 I haven't read much chick lit. But I've heard that the Sloppy Firsts series is good as well as Jennifer Weiner.

179762 The closest thing to chick lit I've ever read is the Sookie Stackhouse series. Which I'm recommending to everyone because I am in the middle of the series and loving it!

1536355 Oh my gosh Jamie...I LOVE!!!!! the Sloppy Firsts series. They're by Megan McCafferty and I highly recommend them! They're just simple and fun! I read a ton of chick lit, especially during the summer. Bree- if you look at my books most everything under "summer reads" are chick lit.

I enjoyed Emily Giffin. She wrote the Something Borrowed; Something Blue; Baby Proof. Baby Proof was not my favorite. Also anything by Jennifer Weiner is good. I'll try to think of some other ones. I really, really love chick lit during the summer. It's easy and fun! Haha.

Nophoto-f-25x33 My favourite chick-lits would be Kiss Chaseand French Relations by the wonderful Fiona Walker I also really enjoy the shopaholic series and the other stand alone books like Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella. (if you have seen the shopaholic movie, the book is way better)

1843983 Em....I love pretty much everything that Marian Keyes has written, especially Rachel's Holiday. I also love In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner. Does 'The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' books by Ann Brashares count as chick-lit? Love those books...

message 7: by Janet (new)

1536355 OH! And of course...Nicholas Sparks has a lot of chick lit! I loved the Traveling Pants books as well!

1367941 I'm with you, Roisu, I love anything by Marian Keyes.. Her characters are especially complex for it to be chic lit.

1367941 I'm with you, Roisu, I love anything by Marian Keyes.. Her characters are especially complex for it to be chic lit. My favorite by her is Anybody Out There?. I also like how some of her books all connect with the Walsh sisters

Nophoto-u-25x33 My favorite chic lit has to be Kissed By An Angel series by Elizabeth Chandler, The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants books by Ann Brashares, and What My Mother Doesn't Know/ What My Girlfriend Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones

877943 I like anything by Meg Cabot, Jennifer Weiner, Emily Giffin and the sloppy first series is really good. Also Sarah Dessen writes good books but I don't know if that's considered chick lit or just young adult.

877943 Oh and Bridget Jones's Diary is really good!
