I absolutely LOVED the books and I'm dying waiting for the Reckoning!

I can honestly say i loved her darkest power series, i cant wait for the Reckoning, ive read the first 2 chapters on her web page, if you all havent i recommend you do :)

I seriously have so many books I'm waiting for I can't even keep them straight!

I read The Summoning. I really liked it! I have The Awakening at home and i also have Bitten, from her other series

I always thought they were titled because in the first book, Chloe accidentally summoned something, and in the second book, they actually learn to awaken their powers--I have no idea.

I posted this somewhere else before I found this board. Still getting used to this group, well and goodreads! I'm on day two here!

I felt as though The Summoning and The Awakening were mistitled with each other. If one had to go based off of the stories, it felt as though the first was about the awakening of powers and the second was about learning to summon, rather than how they were titled. Anyone else feel this way?

I keep getting this mistaken when I am recommending them to other readers. =D

Appears my 14 yr old and I will be busy for a while reading her.

I LOVED the Summoning! I can't wait for the Awakening. I had to place a hold in the library and for some reason it's taking a really long time! Must be a popular book bcuz it's never so long to get a book. Ugh!
Meantime I'm absolutely engrossed in the series by Maria Snyder; Poison Study, Magic Study, and Fire Study. SOO good!

Getting ready to start the Summoning when my son gets finished with it.

I did't know there was that the third one was coming out thankyou I Look forward to reading the third one I loved the first two =]

Did you finish it? How did you like it?

Apparently Armstrong is writing a fourth YA book in a new trilogy. xD

I really enjoy this series too. I am only half way through The Awakening now, but it seems to be just as good as the first.

Kelley Armstrong is already one of my favorite authors, and she writing doesn't falter in her YA series. It's absolutely awesome and one of my favorites.

Has anyone else read this series? What do you think?
