Hi, I am new to this group as well. I could stand to learn and read more Historical Fiction. Any good suggestions to start with?
OH, thank you! I've found that since I've been reading these long trilogies of nice, fat books, I can't switch genres very well. Kind of liking throwing my car into reverse while driving on the highway at 60mph -- not good.
Hi Lori, Have you ever read the Saxon stories by Bernard Cornwell?? The first book of the series is titled "The Last Kingdom". He does his resarch well and his writing makes for a smooth read. I love how he draws you into the story. Wish you luck with your book hunt..!!!
