Yeah it was great, I want to try and finish it today because of the read for the month but I don't think I will. I think I may have to start using my library card more though now because I need to save for Xmas lol
I bought Evermore, 1984, Claimed By Shadowand The Lunatic Cafe (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #4)I have already started Evermore, was amazed because I bought them all off of Amazon used and new and this one turned up the next day!!!
Inkdeath came out in Hardcover last year in October. I don't know if it is out in Paperback yet, I bought the Hardcover.
Inkdeath? When did that come out? The last books I bought were Conan the Magnificent and a Star Trek (geeky) book from the library Saturday.
Me too! I can't wait to read it. I feel like we should do another count down challenge. What do you think? I didn't read as much as I wanted and would like another shot! :)
I just got back from the bookstore and today I bought:Going Bovine by Libba Bray

That's funny----I'm about to buy Catching Fire....I bought The Hunger Games Thursday and I'm on the last 50 pages. I don't know what I'll do when I've consumed Catching Fire.
I also bought: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Gargoyle or is it The Gargoyle? I haven't read it yet but its about a man (this is on the back flap of the jacket) who has an accident and is visited by a woman who scuplts gargoyles...

Oh, My, Goodness. Last night at 9:00 I purchased Catching Fire. By 7 am this morning I had read the entire book getting up only for bio breaks. If you have read The Hunger Games then you MUST go get the sequel! I know its only the second day its been out, so while i'm not surprised, im still frustrated that i have no one to talk to about it! please do yourself a favor and read this series!!!! sooo much to analyse and discuss!!
Yesterday at Target, I got two new books. "Mr. Darcy, Vampyre" by Amanda Grange and "Loose Girl: A Memoir of Promiscuity" by Kerry Cohen. They both look like really good books.

then I bought Revolutionary Road,(I usually don't like to get the ones with the movie tie in covers, but that's all I could find so oh well)
Then I bought Coraline by Neil Gaiman and last but not least
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
So that was from just the bookstore I then went to the thrift store and bought about 13 other books, but how can you pass up books for 20 cents?
I know what you mean Michelle I have been buying so many books lately that I think only other people who are avid readers would understand. I can't help it,every time I walk into a book store or even a thrift store I can't help but walk out with at least a couple new treasures.I'm really excited for summer through so I can get through all the new additions to my collection!
so it would be kind of embarrassing to tell someone who isn't an avid book reader but since you all are im not ashamed to tell you I have bought over $300 worth of used books in the last few weeks with graduation money. I'm SOOOOOOOOO excited for summer, so I can read them all
Last ones i bought were:
Beauty by Robin McKinley
Twice Upon A Marigold by Jean Ferris,
Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
The last book I bought was Atonement, because I loved the movie. I have on order The Reader and will also be buying the Time Traveller's Wife when the Reader comes in. :)
I'm trying to expand my reading beyong YA. It is SO HARD! (Plus, university doesn't exactly look excited on YA for reading lists... :( )
The last books that I bought were Wake and Thirteen Reasons Why. I really loved that book. Glad I decided to buy it.
I'm still looking for good books out there, so if anybody finds a good one that I might like, please tell me? Thank you.
Addie,You will have to let me know what you think of "The Time Travelers Wife" I read it recently and have been wanting to chat with someone about it.
I seriously love buying books I get so excited when I come home with all these great finds!
I've bought a lot of used books lately as well. The other day I bought 1) The Reader by Bernhard Schlink, 2) Ptolemy's Gate by Jonathan Stroud, 3) The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (which I am SO excited to read), and 4) The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
And a few weeks ago there was an annual used book sale at my local library where I picked up 1) Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice, 2) My Name is Asher Lev by Chaim Potok, 3) Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, and 4) The Pleasure of My Company by Steve Martin.
So...yeah. I totally go crazy once in a while! I wouldn't have it any other way.

and the Last days by Scott Westerfeld
