thanks everyone for the welcoming. Laura, I have to agree with you, Chesil Beach was very sad. For such a short story, it held powerful emotions, and I found myself sympathizing with both characters.
Oh, I just recently finished the last three in the Dark Tower Series also!! What did you think? I thought the whole series was fantastic, and was really sad and overwhelmed when it was all over with. I would love to hear your opinion on it.
20. Interview With the Vampire by Ann Rice
21. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
Natalie, I really enjoyed the Dark Tower series. I thought the first four were the best, but the last ones were great, too. When I first finished the last book, I was kinda ticked at the ending, but now I think it's a fitting ending. With that series, any ending would be difficult, and so I believe that King chose the best one possible. what did you think?
Yeah, I agree! At first I was really confused and didnt know how I felt about the ending. The more I thought about it, the more I realized it was the best possible ending for the book. It made me think about it for a good couple weeks after I finished, so I figure any book/series that can do that must be good! I really enjoyed all of them, and agree that the first 4 were better.
