Been there, Ana. Hate when that happens. I just have to read something I know I'l like after that kind of slump, LOL.
I just finished the first book in the Weather Warden series, Ill Wind. I was surprised how much I liked it. It totally made up for a whole string of mediocre misfires the last few months.
Welcome chrissy. I really enjoy Gena's LOTU book especially DP. I hear she's working on Gideon's book now which will be book six in the series. i love Gideon he always makes me laugh. I also enjoy Briggs series as well.
Hi new to the group. I'm currently reading The Darkest Pleasure by Gena Showalter. Next I'm reading Moon Called by Patricia Briggs.

Thanks! I will check to see if my library has them.

Ok, stupid question since your on book 6, but how do you like the series? Its one that I've been thinking about starting.
Well let me know how pure blood is. I'm currently making my way through Lover Avenged than I'll be reading I'm the Vampire That's why and my mini challenge reads.
Thats true, it did pick up at the end. I initially didn't like her. She was too arrogant or something. But as the story unfolded that started to be explained and she became more relatable. I just had a hard time getting past what may me my own biases.

I actually really liked the book. I don't have the other ones yet but i'm excited to read them. For me it really picked up in the end and that really hooked me. I like the characters in the book and as you said the elements were good. I'll let you know when i start the next one and how it is.
The elements were good enough that I will read the next to see if she which way it goes. But again not great
I like Night Life as well but not enough to rush to read the other two books. Eventually I'll get around to reading them.

I finished Night Life and am now reading White Witch, Black Curse by Kim Harrison. Still waiting on my other two books to get here.
I finished TURN COAT a little over a week ago. Good read. I'm interested to see what's going to happen with Thomas. Finished DEAD AND GONE Friday morning & LOVED it! Now reading STARGAZER by Claudia Gray. It's the second in her Evernight series and also reading STARVATION LAKE by Bryan Gruley. It's a mystery that was recommended by a friend.
Just finished Turn Coat, book 11 of the Dresden Files. Can't wait for the next book in the series to come out!
Halfway through Magic Strikes. This series gets better with each book and the Beast Lord is still hot. Finally got D&G so I'll be reading that next.
Just finished The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter. Good book. About to start Witch in the house by Jenna McKnight
Ohhhh, I loved Greywalker series soooo Sins & Shadows added to my tbr list. I am reading Blood blade right this minute and have finished all the watcher books (five of them) from saintcrow. Got a couple others in the hopper but will probobly finish Bloodblade tonight bofore i finish the unincoperated man. Blood Blade
Darn I still haven't received mine yet but I'm almost finished Strange Angels, it's a little ho hum but it's kept my interest.
I put Once Bitten Twice Shy down after receiving Dead and Gone. I'm not but 25 pages in but so far so good! The Great Reveal wasn't so great cuz nobody freaked but yeah. LOL
Within the last 2 days I,finished Dead and Gone (I'll start rereading it soon), Read Some Girls Bite, & and 1/2 of Sins & Shadows. Dead and gone, was worth the wait, Sins and shadows is extremely unique and dark (anyone who likes Greywalker should pick it up), and SGB....was aight, not bad but not a series to write home about yet.Maybe I should've paced myself, cause I've got Paranormality Burnout now, so taking a break. Picked up a few harlequins (to see what all the fuss is about) from the library and some Elizabeth Hoyt. I'll read em till I'm outta my funk, cause I have reviews to write. lol
Yeah around the end when the HEA happened but it had it's butt kicking moments as well. It's not up to parr with Ward but it's good.

Read the ARC. Sounds good. How was Kiss of Crimson? Mushy?
Yeah i can't wait for Dead and Gone either. I'm almost finished Kiss Of crimson and don't know what to start next
Lover Avenged,Magic Strikes, or the ARC I got of Strange Angels
I am reading Once Bitten, Twice Shy by Jennifer Rardin but I will be starting Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris as soon as it gets to my house. Can't wait!!
I'm reading Night Life by Caitlin Kittredge. I have ordered I'm the Vampire, that's why by Michele Bardsley and Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr so i'll start on them soon.
I loved Wizards first Rule. Really. I lost interest in the series around 3 books in but that first book was so good.
Lily
I have a couple books that I am working on this month.
I'm the Vampire, That's Why by Michele Bardsley for this groups BOM.
A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens for another groups BOM.
Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind.
Now that finals are over my leisure reading time has increased, at least until summer session starts! ;)
