Read Wake for task 10.1. It was published in 2008. I enjoyed this book, it was easy, but interesting. Can't wait to read the next one.

The Sweet Far Thing, which I have been putting off because I don't love Bray's writing, but I wanted to finish out the series. How's Evermore? I've been curious about that book.

I've started and stopped it twice. I hope that's not a bad sign. I'll let you know. Too bad you don't like Libba Bray's writing. That's a long ass book!! You'll be reading with me on Friday. You know what I say... Bust it out! :)
I'm there with you girls about Friday. I've got 8 hours left on the audio of The Name of the Wind and I've got 350 pages left of Tamar A Novel of Espionage, Passion, and Betrayal.

I read Slam! for 10.4. It won the Coretta Scott King Award. My 8th grade teacher recommended this book to me and ten years later I still enjoyed it. Yes, it deserved the award.

Doesn't it feel good? I am super happy I finished, too. I really didn't think I was going to make it to the end.
I'm going to try and finish my last book before my sister comes over at noon. We'll see how well that plan works out. :-D I'm about 200 pages into Tamar, which I am loving!
