I read Slam! for 10.4. It won the Coretta Scott King Award. My 8th grade teacher recommended this book to me and ten years later I still enjoyed it. Yes, it deserved the award.

The Sweet Far Thing, which I have been putting off because I don't love Bray's writing, but I wanted to finish out the series. How's Evermore? I've been curious about that book.

Read Wake for task 10.1. It was published in 2008. I enjoyed this book, it was easy, but interesting. Can't wait to read the next one.

For 25.4 I read Inkheart and Inkspell. I didn't enjoy Inkheart as much as I wanted to, but I liked Inkspell. I don't plan on reading the third one any time soon.
Dystopian is shelved in the sci-fi folder. So, still leaves you in the same boat.And Natalee, yeah. I really want to be done, and I want to read just whatever, but at the same time, it is cracking me up how many of my whatevers are still YA! Finished Little Women, two to go!

Hoping someone can help me out... For task 25.1, I was originally going to use Hunger Games as action/adventure but did we decide it's more sci-fi? If so, I need to swap Evermore (sci-fi/fantasy) with something else. No big deal, though. Just confirming. Two books to go! :)

Whew! I'd recommend most of these books. I'd say my favorite was far and away Hunger Games. My least favorite was probably Little Women.
