Agatha Christie... next book of hers I want to read is And Then There Were None. Ada terjumpa buku tu kat Kino baru-baru ni tapi dah terlebih spend duit hari tu =p30. Poison Study - Maria V Snyder
31. Thirteen Reasons Why - Jay Asher
32. Princess on the Brink - Meg Cabot
33. aA+bB -Hlovate
34. This Lullaby - Sarah Dessen
35. The Lost Symbol - Dan Brown
36. The Learning Curve - Melissa Nathan
macam menarik je agatha christie ni..? First time jumpa nama Agatha Christie dalam game deduksi Inspector Parker..hehe
Ordeal of Innocence sounds interesting. Adakah buku ini sesuai untuk saya mula membaca Agatha Christie?

The Affair at Styles - Hercule Poirot's first case in Britain.
Murder on the Orient Express - (detective: Poirot). Famous for its revelation.
The Mirror Crack'd - (detective: Miss Marple). I sympathise with the murderer in this case.
Ordeal by Innocence - Jack Argyle dies in prison proclaiming his innocence. No one believes him because there is no one to support his alibi. Two years later, Arthur Calgary, the man who could have supported Argyle's alibi turns up and now he and Argyle's family must deal with the fact that Jack Argyle was telling the truth after all: that he was innocent. But then, who was the actual murderer?
actually baru je start reading agatha christie. ada kawan yg sgt obses with her books, so saya pun try la satu and terus minat. that's only the 2nd book of hers that I've read. wanna recommend some more?
pride and prejudice saya beli the very next day after watching the movie, haha. movie tu pun tengok sebab kena paksa. dah tengok tu, I was kinda surprised to find myself liking it :D
Pride and Prejudice!
My copy (belek bagai nak gila masa buat STPM zaman tuk naduk dulu) dah yellowed. Tapi brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Who'd've thunk it? That a love story written berzaman ago would still capture our hearts today?
:D
29. Death on the Nile - Agatha Christie
One of my favourite Christie mysteries. Demi wang (si pembunuh) sanggup memikirkan rancangan yg kompleks untuk menjadi kaya. Malangnya, detektif tersohor Hercule Poirot pun ada atas feri tu. Kacau daun je lah Poirot ni :)
25. Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
26. The Eyes of Darkness - Dean Koontz
27. The Giver - Lois Lowry
28. To Catch an Heiress - Julia Quinn
29. Death on the Nile - Agatha Christie
lps ni my reading most probably akan berkurangan. it's a major distraction. susah btul nak study lately :D
21. The Graveyard Book- Neil Gaiman
22. The Secret- Julie Garwood
23. Beauty A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast- Robin Mckinley
24. The Time Traveler's Wife- Audrey Niffenegger
Yati wrote: "P/S: Nothing against people who actually liked Twilight! To each her/his own! :D "To be honest, I have a love/hate relationship with Twilight Series... I loved how the story was drafted at first. It was dramatic and somewhat fun to read... But somewhere along the series went downhill... It's a shame... Maybe I shouldn't have expected too much from it... Though, still, if you have the time I'd recommend to read it... AFTER you're done with every other books you can think of... lol...
Hannah wrote: "Avoiding Twilight? Haha.. kenapa pulak? tak teringin ke nak tahu what the fuss is all about?"Haha, mostly it's because people whose tastes I trust absolutely hated the book. I don't know whether I will hate it (no way to know unless I try reading it la kan), but given their reactions, I think it's really likely! Mula-mula ingat nak pinjam dari kawan, tapi dok fikir, "why waste my time?" Banyak lagi buku lain nak baca. :D
P/S: Nothing against people who actually liked Twilight! To each her/his own! :D
Ulya wrote: "I like the mediator series too.. only read 2 so far pun. But havent tried any of the other Meg Cabot series though."
I read the Mediator series years ago. At that time, memang sangat minat la. Tak tahu la kalau baca sekarang (after maturing, hehe..) still minat lagi ke tak.
Avoiding Twilight? Haha.. kenapa pulak? tak teringin ke nak tahu what the fuss is all about?
I like Meg Cabot sebab buku2 dia selalunya kelakar. Best la kalau nak baca time2 you need a laugh :)
Hannah wrote: "Tapi tak tahu la kalau they're your taste ke tak. As for me, I enjoyed them more than The Luxe :)"Nampak macam taste kita tak lah match sangat. Though I'm happy to find someone else who likes YA! I'm more of a fantasy/science fiction reader. I have a lot of books by Diana Wynne Jones.
Yang dah baca: all the Harry Potter books (I generally like the series), A Great and Terrible Beauty (not sure I buy the ending, so tak sambung-sambung lagi baca Rebel Angels). Yang lain tak baca lagi, including Twilight, which I am actually avoiding. Um.
Maybe I'll try one of the Meg Cabot books!
I like the mediator series too.. only read 2 so far pun. But havent tried any of the other Meg Cabot series though.
Yati wrote: OK, that definitely caught my attention. Which dozen of other YA books? I like YA books. :D"
On second thought, make that half a dozen :D
-Harry Potter (haha)
-Twilight (of course)
-A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
-The Sweep series by Cate Tiernan
-Old Magic by Marianne Curley
-The Morning Gift by Eva Ibbotson
-Avalon High by Meg Cabot
-Teen Idol by Meg Cabot
-Mediator series by Meg Cabot (senang2 cite, MOST books by Meg Cabot :p )
Tapi tak tahu la kalau they're your taste ke tak. As for me, I enjoyed them more than The Luxe :)
Hannah wrote: "Haha.. Actually The Luxe tu pun saya beli sebab cover dia lawa. Cerita dia ok la, interesting jugak. I would recommend it, but only after about a dozen other young-adult books."OK, that definitely caught my attention. Which dozen of other YA books? I like YA books. :D

Alang2 tengah cuti ni, saya pun ambik kesempatan la habiskan buku2 yang belambak kat rumah :)
Saya stop Pillars of The Earth tu pun bukan sebab cerita dia tak best tapi sebab panjang sangat sampai penat nak habiskan.
Haha.. Actually The Luxe tu pun saya beli sebab cover dia lawa. Cerita dia ok la, interesting jugak. I would recommend it, but only after about a dozen other young-adult books.
Wah, dah 20 buku! Saya buku The Pillars of the Earth tu asyik ingat nak cuba, but every time I pick it up I get discouraged by its thickness. Kurr semangat. The Luxe tu teringin nak baca sebab cover dia cantik, ehehe. Would you recommend it?
Disebabkan jeles tengok semua orang semangat buat senarai ni, saya pun naik semangat jugak la. Semuanya fiction except satu saja. Yang satu je tu pun baca sebab kena buat assignment, haha.. Nak buat macam mana, dah lebih minat cerita buat2 daripada true story.
