Not neccesarily better books just have the chance to tell more story and you create this image of your own the movie doesn't give you

My sister and I watched the movie together, and she had all these questions so then I told her to read the book because it, in my opinion, is better than the movie. So she started reading it and in the first few chapters, she thought it was better then the movie.

Well, that's how it started out. It probably changed, otherwise she would have been his snack a long time ago, hehe.

well in the edward POV book, it kept saying how he was planning to drink her blood, and what he was going to do so that nobody would find out! so actually, in his mind he only wanted her blood!
I wanna know what happened to the blood typing scene! Thats what really got me into Twilight!!! That chapter was my favorite besides the baseball one!
When I read the book, I never really thought it was creepy that Edward followed her around, and it was love at first sight, and snuck into her bedroom (ok, that one was a little weird). But seeing it in the movie sometimes creeps me out. Like the part when Rob Pattinson is just standing in her bedroom when she wakes up.

I agree, but I did love the baseball scene. I think that maybe if they cut out that make out/kiss on the bed, then they could have their kiss in the meadow instead.
They could have ditched some stuff like the baseball scene they could have shortened that and made the meadow better
The "meadow" was actually a golf course with fake flowers. The one they were going to film at, got rained on. So they had to change locations.
So, I don't really blame them with their small budget, but I still would have liked to see more of the scene.
And it wasn't really a meadow...they are just lying on some moss and dead leaves. That was my favorite part in the book, and I was very disapointed they didn't spend more time on that scene. And i think that Rob acts mad in the biology scene, not like he's falling in love.
Yeah, it went by quickly. I think the timing was off. I mean, Catherine Hardwicke said they spent extra time in the biology scene, because that was a catalyst for their love, but I think she got it wrong. I think the catalyst for their love was the meadow, and they spent all but two seconds there.
I hate when they make a character look different!!! Like in the movie Edward looks like a jerk who only likes Bella for her blood.
And in the book he could be any girl's dream guy because he was caring and he wanted her badly, not for her blood but for her.
And like in the movie they made it seem like Edward didn't FALL in love but just went hey i love you.

I think that sounds perfect. then everyone can post whatever they want and the people who are waiting won't get all the info a head of time!!
I'll add the folder, so Mellady's spoiler vids could be moved there too (if she's okay with it). It could be like a New Moon Movie Spoiler folder! :D

Melzz we need to make a folder for New Moon Movie feedback and then request that everyone post there so that the people who are waiting to see it can choose not to look there!!!
I'm nervous about that... I hope once you guys see it, you won't start telling everyone before they get a chance.

I've also heard that there's a twist in New Moon that wasn't in the book.

I think that the movie New Moon will have a bunch of things wrong that real Twilight fans can pick out but I have heard a number of times that they tried to stay closer to the book than Twilight did.
