Lauren (not Lauren the radical athiest) Your arguments against abortion are juvenile and facile. If you don't want a baby, don't make a baby? Things are never that simple. Nobody sets out with the aim of having an abortion. I know people who've had abortions, they all hated it, it wasn't exactly fun. But it was the right solution to an unfortunate situation, and none of them regret it. Bendomelina, you're right. Nobody is like, ok, I'm bored, think I'm gonna get pregnant and have an abortion.

Honey, not all beliefs are true. That kind of attitude results in a lot of fucked up shit. If everyone believed what they wanted to without the slightest shred of evidence, the world would be in an even bigger mess than it is now. Nazis believed that Jews and homosexuals were inferior, subhuman. Is that a correct belief? No. Did they have any evidence to back it up? Nope. Their opinion led to genocide being committed against 6million people. And in your case, your belief that souls exist,a belief for which there is not the slightest shred of evidence for, results in you being judgemental and woefully ignorant about the complexities of abortion.

There are so many things wrong with that statement, but firstly, you seem to be implying that if you are mature then you will want a baby. Which is complete b*shit. Loads of people are mature enough to have sex and don't want babies. I wouldn't call them immature though. In fact, from what we've being learning in politics recently, I'd be more inclined to say that those who don't want to procreate are the mature ones.

Well this is a active topic for sure, I haven't been active recently but here's my opinion:It's your choice, period, to do whatever the hell you wanna do. That includes sex and abortion
Personally, because of that when I hear that certain states have this thing where women applying for abortions have to give very very personal info to the state, which POSTS IT ONLINE. It's disgusting, and really. There are obviously reason that the person is choosing abortion. It's not like "oh I'm bored. I'm gonna go get knocked up, then get rid of it. On purpose." not to offend anyones beliefs but I can see certain religions/ppl with opinions not only controlling their believers but also people around them. Just mind your own buisness please. Don't mess with someones life just because u don't completly agree with what they are doing.
And another one leaves when they realize they have no facts to stand on. *sigh*I love that people with ridiculous ideas that they can't support want everyone to say, "Wow! Your idea is awesome! I don't agree with it, but good for you! You thought of something and said it out loud! Woo hoo!"

First, you can't call it a debate because debates are typically two way streets. This was one way. I supported my arguments while you did not. You merely got offended and ran away. Second, you are clearly the one who took something personal, since you grabbed your ball and went home.

There you go being wrong again. Many people are mature enough to have sex, but not mature enough to have a baby. I'm one of those people. To pretend that if one wants to have sex, one must also be ready to have a child is ridiculous, dishonest, and incorrect.
And, if the living conditions are not correct for a baby, don't have sex.

Talk about simplifying a complex issue. No, it isn't that simple at all. People don't make a baby on purpose and then decide they want to abort it later. That's ridiculous. It is an accident.
That's like telling someone if he doesn't want to get into an accident, then just don't drive. We drive, but we take precautions (seatbelts, airbags, etc.). Sometimes the precautions work, sometimes they don't. However, simply because someone does not want to get in an accident, is not a sufficient reason to tell them they shouldn't be driving.

You have absolutely no evidence for this claim. Firs, you can't even show that adults have souls. Likely you can't even define what you mean by the word soul. Even if you could prove adults have souls, you would then need to prove when the soul is formed in the body. however, since you can't prove the first, you certainly can't prove the last.
