952045 Hi. Just a quick note that American Eve, my gilded age bio/true crime book on Evelyn Nesbit, is going to be in the NY Times Paperback Row on May 10th. Also check out the following:

566049 I enjoyed the look at what was going on at the time and how the different individuals' fates came together

602581 I'll admit I was drawn to the book since she was the inspiration for Anne of Green Gables. However, I learned so much more and was just fascinated. Thank you for the book! :)

952045 Thanks so much. Evelyn's grandson told me how weird it was at first to look over my shoulder into his own family's past but thanked me for offering a sympathetic view into what everyone always considered his "grandma's wicked wicked ways."

602581 I bet that would be weird. I think you did a great job; I didn't read her as wicked really at all.

952045 I think he meant it tongue in cheek since that's been her reputation for 100 years -- at least I hope that's how he meant it.
:)
