Oh, and calling in advice - I'm such a librarian, I try to do research before making a recommendation...."

I am sad to say that I did not finish the book Always and Forever within the month of May. Mostly a time issue on my part. :)

434780 Mel,

Finished Poison Study last night just in time for the last day of May. I have to admit the book picked up its pace by the latter part, and I was quite satisfied with the ending. Even though the romance angle was subtle, it was enough to meet my HEA craving..LOL.

Overall, despite the sometimes unwieldy writing, it has a great plot, fascinating worldbuilding, and intriguing characters. The rest of the books in the series are definitely going into my TBR list.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I managed to get this book from the library and finished it on 5/30. It seems like a fun series. Thanks for the recommendation.

2149601 Amanda, sorry I haven't had a chance to finish the title you recommended (I really haven't read much of anything this month for some reason) but it is still on my shelf and I'll get to it soon. :O)

Melissa, so glad you enjoyed Minda Webber! She's truly one of my favs and I love passing her along. :O)

1504904 Lori!!! I still don't have my copy of The House of the Spirits. It pisses me off. Why do people hold on to the library books this long? WHY!!! I want my copy!!

Anyways I'm gonna get it sometime soon, hopefully. But May is gone already and it's a shame - I wanted to post my review here...

Forgive me?

1968285 @ Annvelwis, I honestly tried to read It Had to Be You but just couldn't get past the whole football theme. I absolutely hate football. It has wonderful reviews and awards but I just couldn't do it. Sorry.

Don't apologize. That's should be my line ;)
I was "prepered" for "It Had To be You" by other books by S.E. Phillips so maybe my perception of this book was not as consistent as it should be.
I'm really sorry and I hope that next time you'll get something better. Take care :)
