Because there are so many great twists and turns in the plot of Water for Elephants, I've posted some chapter breakdowns for discussion. However, to avoid spoilers, I'm going to recommend the following:

Put the number of the chapter you're commenting about at the top of your post and then hit return a couple of times before writing your comment. That way, if someone is in the chapters 7-12 discussion but they're only on chapter 9, they'll know not to read anything that's about a chapter they haven't gotten to yet.
