803515 You've got a lot of books on your list that I've loved, so I bet I'll like some of the few I haven't read. What's Deathwish by Thurman like?

message 8: by Christy (new)

2225408 It's a great book!

message 9: by Megan (new)

2227395 Deathwish is the 4th book in an urban fantasy series I LOVE! It's actually one of my favorites. Do you have a favorite series/book?

message 10: by Gail (new)

803515 Well, of course, I'm partial to the books I've Written... though I do historical or epic fantasy more. NEW BLOOD (Nalini S. loved it--) is a Victorian Steampunk fantasy book.

I have a TON of favorites, unfortunately. Or fortunately... I really enjoyed Nalini Singh's ANGEL'S BLOOD--it's dark, but not TOO dark for me. I don't like them if they get too dark and creepy. I can read scarier fantasy than "real" suspense, though. (I used to work for a prosecutor, so I've looked those guys in the eye, and they Are scary...) So, how scary is Deathwish? And is it magic, vampires, shifters, or what?

message 11: by Megan (new)

2227395 I didn't realize you're an author! I'll look you up next time I'm at the bookstore, I love fantasy ~ I read Angel's blood not that long ago and really liked it, I'm a new Nalini Singh fan! ^^

Deathwish wasn't scary, more suspenseful than anything. It was the book the series was leading up to, though it's not the last. It's got magic, vampires, demons, vampies, angels... pretty much a dash of anything supernatural.
