An easier way to do it is to click on add book/author, search for the book you want, and then at the bottom of the screen click cover instead of link! Much easier!

The Kindle is not the only option, I have a Hanlin V3, and it reads almost any text format you can think off, plus html.

That stinks, I'm only a little bit farsighted, but that's because it's hereditary.
I'm thinking about asking for one for my birthday, but I tend to go to the library more often than buy books. If I switch to Kindle, I have to purchase each book instead of checking them out from the library. I adore the idea though. If only they had a Kindle library...
Why don't you try an electronic reader? The e-ink technology is awesome, it doesn't hurt your eyes one bit, and you can increase the size of the fonts to make your reading easier.

Well, I'm now nearsighted and have to wear glasses which I will receive in 2 weeks. I asked the doctor if it's okay for me to read and he said, "Of course!" He said it was caused by working in front of a computer all day. I have 20/60 vision without corrective lenses...
Linda, i understand. Listening to an audiobook is not the same as reading the book. Hopefully you will be able to see a doctor. You have to take care of your eyes, read with good illumination is the key!. take care.
Thank you! I greatly miss curling up in bed with a book. I will let you all know how it goes at the doctor's tomorrow and what the outcome is.
The audiobooks are helping me a lot lately. I have been having problems with my eyes (I think caused from reading too much), so I haven't been reading any printed books. It's very hard because I love reading. I have my doctor's appointment tomorrow, so hopefully I will be able to get reading glasses and go back to reading printed books. :)

Thanks! I don't know if there is another way to do it, but I go to 'my account', then widgets, and I believe it is the second one down. You can sort by order you finished the books, or however you want and it creates a collage. I tend to just do one at a time as I finish them, so I put date I read as the sorting factor, then 1 as the amount of books. Usually it posts with a bunch of extra html, so I just delete that part from my comment until it's just the picture of the book left... :)
I got 5 books read in May, I will try to finish another one this weekend and then I will post my list for next month, which will include the ones from above that I didn't finish and some others. :)
