not sure i luv twilight but i luv vampire academy if i can choose between edward and dimitri that would have to be my answer haha i dont no if that made sense haha..

i like both. bella and rose are both REALLY different. i like rose better tho. haha. rose is like waay more out there.

i so like VA much betta than Twilight...theres more adventure and twists in VA, twilight is soo predictable that they're gonna end up together whereas in VA who knows what could happen??? Adrian or Dimka???? and whats gonna happen when and IF rose finds dimitri???

Man VA is HEAPS better.!.
Might be smaller books but they hold much more of a storyline if you know what i mean.!.
When i first read twilight i thought NOTHING would ever be better than that series but VA has overcome it more than double time.
And the debate between Edward or Dimitri.?.

Va is much better because it has a better story line. It's not just a teen romance. I do like Twilight but VA is just way too amazing to compare

I think VA and twilight are both good but I prefer VA. It is one of the...no...THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! And I know that some of you'll say that I haven't readmany books then...but thats not the case. Its just that most of tha books i read are fantasy... I love the world of vampires and werewolves...any mythical creatures really. So I would have to say that in the battle of VA verse Twlight, that they are excptionally good but I would rather read the VA series then twilight even though I love twilight too!

but they romance between bella and edward is so sigh worthy.
the relationship with rose and dimitri was such a pain to get to.

OMG I love Dimitri!!! I love him so much better than Edward. I love Edward but Dimitri has made a permenant spot in my heart that edward didn't. VA is a lot better it has a much better plot line and the characters are much better thought out than in Twilight. Rose is so MUCH better than Bella.

Hell yes!!!!!!!!! VA is at the top of the my list. I so Love Dimitri better then Edward. I loved the Twilight series too but I sooo love the VA series better. Yea, I also believe the characters are better in VA, they have more attitute, its more realistic then twilight. but either way I still like twilight just not as muct as VAMPIRE ACADAMY IS THE BOMB!!!!!!

I have to agree. Like i loved Twilight and was obsessed for a while about it and all but after reading VA I toltally fell in love with it!!! I fell in love with rose from the start! Shes got the greatest attude and unlike Bella she isn't defencless!!! I love the way that Dimitri and Rose 'Click' so perfectly when all Bella and Edward could do at the start was argue lol

I say VA wins this comp hands down :)

Ok I was 'the' Twilight fan, I have over 6 large posters and millions of little ones around my bedroom. I own the books/movies/director's booklet.

And I hate to admit it but Rachelle Mead is the better writer by far and has created such an amazing book.
It is better then Twilight.

yea after the movie came out in twilight i cant read the book anymore cause i only think bout the movie its so annoying... but i still luv the rest of the books n va...

I personally think Vampire Academy is way way way better than Twilight. No offense but I think Twilight is kinda lame...boring really. It really has no plot other than some big words you can't even understand.

I think they are two totally different books.
I like twilight considering that it's one of those corny romances that every girl secretly kinda wants.
whereas Vampire academy i personally like it because Rose character is so similar to mine, that it's quite entertaining that it's like reading about myself in a book, with a different situation.
I also believe that twilight is more so fantasy whereas V.A is a little more life like.

Definately... Like i'm wrecking my brain over what's going to happen in Blood Lust... I can't believe it's going to be another 3 months till it comes out here in Australia.
i think that given Stephanie Meyer's religious backgroud as well, she wasn't really able to explore the true colours of what it was like to feel like a teenager (up to somewhatno good), or feel lust as well as passion to the extent you want to give yourself to someone.

i think i read it somewhere too.. but i think 5 books were supposed to be from rose's p.o.v and the last one from someone else's.

yes to many big words lol

i love both but vampire academy is more ongoing....like i love the twilight saga and can't wait for the 2nd movie to come out but that series is over. Done. So...over all i would have to say Vampire academy is better. It just grabs your attention and pulls you in( like the twilight saga) but the vampire academy books have way more action that the twilight saga. Go to my discussions about blood promise the next installment in the vampire academy books and tell me what you think should happen next.

BTW..there are so far going to be 7 books.

YES!!!...VA is much better that twilight...vampire academy is a lot more interesting...twilight kind of seems the same as a lot of other stories sometimes
