2330510 I'm early into The City of Thieves on a friend's recommendation. It's a painful, but sometimes funny look at the Russian side of WWII. It feels like it's going to hold on right to the end. My friend couldn't stop talking about it.

I am new to goodreads, but glad to be here thanks to Unbriddled's invitation. I wanted to know what everyone is reading. I am reading Yiyun Li's The Vagrants and I'm also reading her book of short stories in order to prepare to write a book review. She uses a rotating third point of view, I think that's what it's called - in The Vagrants - and it produces an interesting, sometimes surprising, and even shocking effect.
