The Rosetta's expression changed, "There is a ship approaching quickly!" she said grabbing her sword.
((romeo likes rosetta now. i changed his proflie ALOT.))
"any colors?" romeo asked, licking the blade of his knife.
((colors are flags))
"what type do you think it is?" romeo asked, putting his knife back into his pocket.
((romeo means privateer, royal navy, pirate, or trader))
"rosetta's spotted a ship! we can't see the colors, sir!" romeo said, watching trey with unserpressed awe.
romeo couldn't help it.
"all gunners at the ready! to your stations everyone!" he roared. then he looked sheepishly at trey.
romeo looked meaningfully at rosetta.
"aren't you on lookout?" he asked, looking at her purposefully.
romeo asked trey,
"do you know what the ship is?" he asked, trying to get a good look through the telescope.
Trey closed his telescope.
"It's just another pirate. They're coming closer. Get the weapons ready, but don't attack. I need to see what they want."
"you heard him! hold fire unless commanded! everyone, draw weapons!"
the crew suddenly bacame a bunch of bristling assortment of weapons.
romeo nodded in approval.
romeo watched the ship get closer, and closer...
until the ship suddenly opened fire.
all romeo saw was a flash of smoke, and he shouted,
"fire!" then he got thrown off his feet.
there was a flash of cannon fire as both ships continued firing, so far the zephyr hadn't taken a hit.
romeo woke and lept out of trey's arms.
"should we board, sir?" he asked, slightly wavering.
romeo cheered, then blacked out yet again, right in front of rosetta.
((very embarrassing if you have a crush on the girl that you faint in front of.))
romeo woke up, staring into the remarkably pretty face of rosetta.
"did we get the critters?" he asked.
romeo got up, then hugged rosetta.
he suddenly drew back, embarrassed.
"sorry." he muttered. "i just like winning."
romeo stared after her, then went back to cleaning his knife and sword.
he hoped that rosetta would spot a trader ship soon. hugging her had felt good.
