Mine would have to be Looking At Los Angeles by Jane Brown (Author), et al. It is funny how I can browse through the images from past to present , and even though they surround me everyday, I am consistently moved by the emotion these photographers evoke of my city.

"I Feel Earthquakes More Often than they Happen" by Amy Wilentz. I'm half way through it. Very funny, but also very informative about SoCal history. Lots of local Los Angeles references.
