I can't seem to get my picture in this little box. I'll have to work on that. However, my cover is relatively interactive on my website. http://ulharper.com/index.html
Hi Joanne,The secret is to click on the book cover on your page. Then right click on the larger image that appears on the page after you have clicked the cover. A box will appear with the properties for that image. Copy the URL and paste between the quotes: Put this inside the quotes <img src="">
This is the URL for your book image:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51...
Try pasting it between the quotes in a comment box. Then click on (preview). You should see your book cover in the preview window.
(You will have to click the link to see the full URL -- it doesn't show the full URL in the comment.)
I've had the opportunity and pleasure to work closely with a graphic artist to achieve a cover that captures the underlying mood of the novel. Many have told me, after they read the novel, that the cover's symbolism became even more powerful then (which was the intended outcome).
Robin wrote: "I was in another group where people could post their covers so I thought I would start a thread for it here."Hi Robin.
I just posted as a new recruit. How does one post their book cover to this discussion?
Brian
Hi everybody.I'm the new kid on the block.
Just jointed obviously.
Just published also.
So, how does one go about posting their book cover to this discussion board?
Ciao,
Brian
Hello everyone,My husband took the photo, Came out pretty good.
Hope you all have a great day.
Thank you,
Lori
Hi, My name is Amber Lehman and this is my first novel, TORN, A bigger picture of it can be seen at http://www.closetcasepress.com. Thanks!
Amber :)
Great idea to show book covers. Here is mine. The novel Trini Melange explores life in the multi-racial, multi cultural Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago which has its genesis in colonialism and gains independence from Britian in the nineteen sixties.
Sorry, Shelagh. I failed to produce the larger cover.
Regarding book covers as promotional devices,
here's a cover of a different sort. It's a text-only version of an authors book (text and art by me, as well as printed on handmade paper by me and bound by me as well) so when I published this version I kept the original cover, naturally. I've only put up three of my books so far, but one (E) has a cover in a similar style.

Comments? (Sorry they're so small -- I couldn't figure out how to make a big one.}

Okay, here goes nothing.
Pete McFadden has stumbled into success, and he's not going to question it. His clever online spoof of astrology has unintentionally turned him into a trendy self-help guru. But when his creation becomes a weapon in the hands of a manipulative cult leader and a ruthless multinational corporation, Pete learns that the pleasures of wishful thinking come at a high price. Stunt Road offers a satiric look at spirituality and belief in a marketing-mad world.

Great cover, Paul. What a horrific experience. I think the book could be made longer and therefore more salable if you interviewed others who were there - women with children, say. Just a thought.
Book covers are such a terrific form of art. My cover was actually my favorite picture that I took when trapped in New Orleans during Katrina. Photo was taken from the Hyatt Regency Hotel where we were smuggled to after 4 nights in the Superdome.

Thank you. I love how we can use our book covers to introduce ourselves and our work. Each one is as unique as their story.
This is the new cover for my book, "Piercing the Veil," available only in softcover. The original cover for my book is still available in hardcover edition, but only directly from the publisher, iUniverse.
Hopefully, I'll do this right and it will come out in a larger format than last time!

Hi everyone, this is my book cover. It is also my first novel.
It is an action-packed adventure that spans 2 generations. it takes place in the present and during World War 2.
Shelagh -- I'll have to work on how to enlarge the cover for the sequel that will follow!
Many thanks, again!
Eric Wentz
Hi Shelagh -- I must be doing something wrong, because either my book cover is small or too big. I have two different covers for my book, "Piercing the Veil," and the initial one comes out very small. Could you help me through this? Thanks in advance!!
Eric Wentz
Dear Shelagh,
You are not only helpful but knowledgeable!
This is in fact one of my book covers. At the moment I am trying to promote my most recent book THE TRIUMPH OF DEBORAH. Can I get its cover on this page, too?
As you suggested I have submitted an application to participate in the author's program, and once this is approved, I will try to do more things.
A million thanks,
Eva
