A new Fantasy/Humor novel by Russ Woody, writer/producer for Murphy Brown, Becker, Cybill, Mad About You, The Drew Carey Show.
I already posted on this but I downloaded the sample from Kindle and found it..... charming - I predict this will be "one to watch".
Thanks for the comment Robin! When I looked initially I didn't see it on Kindle. Just read the sample; charming really is the word for it. I'll probably be purchasing the Kindle book just as soon as April (and hence my monthly book budget) get here. Now, if only that pesky Avempartha would arrive for Kindle... *sigh* If only I had some sort of way of contacting the author to yell at him for not publishing as quickly as I read. :)
Danielle - LOL -- I'm working on the Kindle version of Avempartha...the release date is April 1....I know the hardcopy books are already out but I've been busy with them and sorry to say having to neglect the Kindle people (There is a reason to the madness though sice the printing has "other" people I have to coordinate with and the Kindle is "just me". It will be there when your April book budget is there ;-)
I looked at this book too. The sample is very well written, I'll need to see if I can find time to read it.
Just wanted to bump this post up and see if anyone has picked this up - looks very interesting and I'm thinking of ordering it. Anyone read it yet?

How is the font size and line spacing in the book? I generally avoid books only released as paperbacks, because I have trouble reading them (esp. mass market PBs) and do not like e-books. If it sells well enough, maybe the will be a future library edition.
I have a copy of the book - but have not started reading it yet - behind on my book club readings. This is a "trade paperback" not MMPB. So it has the size and spacing of a hard bound book. It is wonderfully laid out - I'm sure you'll have no problems reading it.

Wow - thanks so very much Russ but I already caved and bought it. It was simply too tempting. It's now living in my "to be read" pile climbing its way to the top. I'll let you know when I get started and I'll be sure to post comments and a review.
Thanks for the web link - I really like how you've posted reviews from younger readers.
Looking forward to the adventure.
