It's the twitter for my blog, but I also use it to ramble about books, writing and history.

I tend to use facebook alot more than twitter, I am never on twitter although i do have an account. I think facebook is far more interesting, and to be honest I am not sure how twitter works.

Your list does appear to be different than mine, but it's nice to have both: one for everyone on Goodreads and one for the Chicks. awesome.

Any way, I made a Chicks on Lit list! I think everyone is on this list... though there are some with "protected" tweets that I did not follow as I didn't know the pass.

There should be a button to "follow" it - which would then give you a button on your homepage to click and easily see all us chicks and our tweets.

Unfortunately, if your account isn't one of the random ones to be chosen for the beta, you won't even be able to see this link. The lists feature will be rolled out to your account eventually though, so Keep trying and happy tweeting!

I'm Lilysnana55 on twitter, but I don't tweet too often. As far as followers, I let anyone follow who wants to but I don't necessarily follow them. I only follow people I know, for the most part. I would consider Chicks people I know!

I twitter all the time :) I even set up twitter accounts for 2 of my characters (laugh). I kind of swing between ranting abut issues that matter to me (like health care) and posting excerpts from my novels (laugh).

Since "protecting" my tweets, I get a lot of 'requested to follow' me who are clearly perves, both male & female! lol When I didn't have my tweets private, I got a bunch of spam followers! Can't win either way!

Cindy - usually those random people will follow me for about a day, and when they see i'm not gonna follow them - they 'un' follow me. i'm not exciting enough, i guess.

Cindy, I don't know how they find me. But you go to the list of people following you and there's a link that says "block." Click it and affirm that you do want to block that person. It's a piece of cake.

OK so I want to know do you get people you don't know following you on twitter? And do you block them or just let them follow? How do they even find me and why would they want to follow... I'm confused!

When you're on your Twitter page - go to Settings. Under the Account tab, almost halfway down...look for where it says (You can also add Twitter to your site here) and click on that. It will take you to a screen where you can pick Blogger and get a widget to put on your blog.

I don't like using the Twitter app on my phone either...facebook on my phone is much easier to update.

I seriously cannot seem to make stuff work on my cell with Twitter. I reply back to you all but its not working. I think you only get the ones I send out in mass.

I will quit rambling here and try to figure this all out!

If you want to respond to someone in particular, you type in @MegSeff (or whomever) and then put your comment. At least, that's what I've been doing.

if you go to www.twitter.com and sign up you can then pick people you want to follow. It is like text messaging except it is computer based. Then you can turn it on so that it sincs with your phone, not a must you have a choice, so you won't miss your tweets if you don't want to. That is as far as I got.

Heck no! I find it so annoying. I'm young, but still soooo old school in some ways! I've also come to hate facebook...I used to like it before it opened up to people other than people in college. I think it's just because all the applications got very aggressive and annoying. Though, if you're having fun- go for it!
