Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion
Published 2010

A zombie who yearns for a better life ends up falling in love—with a human.
~
Wow, we've been a book club for a year. So, happy anniversary, Oh, Schnapps!

It's February so, we're celebrating love and stuff with Warm Bodies. I don't usually do romance but I'll take some zombie love over real love anyway. That stuff makes me queasy. (get it, because zombies usually make people queasy because of blood and guts. Okay, I'll stop.)

Very excited that you're reading this one Nafeesa! How's your Kobo working out for you?

It's good so far! Almost finished with the hobbit so I should be starting on the Kobo this week sometime :)

Ooooh you got a Kobo? Sweet! We're on the way to peer-pressuring Lily into getting an eReader lol

We should make bets on when she'll get an eReader. Within 2 years? 5?

Hahahaha good luck with that

Finally, I have finished.

Overall, I enjoyed it but what the hell was going on at the end? I don't understand how they dealt with the Boneys.

Right? That was when I got completely lost.

How do you think he can do a sequel? I don't even know if one is necessary.

I don't think a sequel is necessary. Unless he was going to explain what the deal was with the Boneys. For dystopian/post-apocalyptic, I really like unfinished and open endings. That's what makes those types of books so good - the unknown!

Maybe there was some deep meaning to the Boneys that we just didn't get? For the life of me, I can't figure it out.
