Mapleson | 94 comments As a reply to the question of the British Science Fiction Association Awards being only for British people, the answer is no, it's open to all nationalities.

For novels, they have to be first published in the UK in that year, but for artwork, novellas, and short stories they can be published anywhere in the world. This year there is one American (Kim Stanley Robinson) in the finalists for novels.
