I was an English teacher for 16 years and am about to have my debut young adult novel published in May. I'm a part of a group of 22 middle grade and ya authors (http://classof2k9.com) who are eager to find classrooms that might want to connect with writers. Depending on location, these visits could happen virtually or in real time with actual human beings coming together! I am Chicago-based as is one other in the group. The group is also looking for teacher blogs for possible interviews or just providing info about new books.
