I know this is being kind of picky and all, but it's Xander. W/ an X. And yeah, I haven't really heard of Nicholas before Buffy. I've heard of most of the rest of the gang, but not him...

And I know this isn't the place to put it, but I don't want to look in the comic/book topics, just in case of spoilers. Are the books and comics worth reading and all??? I'm saving up for them, but if they're not good, I'll just check them out from the library and buy the ones they don't have.

I like how Zander and Spike became so important to the show. Zander could have been dismissed as a buffoon or a minor character used for comic relief. But, in the end, he was the guy who "saw," who uplifted, who provided the glue that held people together.

As far as Spike goes, he went from what could have been a one-off part to saving the world!

That's what I like about Joss' shows. Characters grow, change, and become something in the end that no one expected or anticipated in the beginning.

Zander is a perfect example.

I think Nicholas is a great actor who hasn't been given his due. I hope he gets a chance to shine one of these days.

he was in a few ABC family movies, post Buffy. In one he plays a gay guy, in another he plays the big brother to the guy that Carpender's (also former buffy, angel) character is dating

I like Xander very much as a character, he's one of the best on the show, but I haven't seen much of his work so I don't know if it's great acting or just him.

I always thought that zander was a good character in the TV show he is a very good actor and i definitely think he is under rated

One actor from Buffy seems to be overlooked in a lot of Buffy groups: Nicholas Brendon (aka Xander). From what I recall, he hadn't acted much prior to Buffy. BtVS was his first major role.

Despite that, I thought he did a great job. Nicholas has a disarming wit and a natural, relaxed personality that fit well with the Xander character. I don't think he's had the best breaks since the end of Buffy. But I hope he gets more chances to shine. I think he's a talented, albeit seriously underrated, actor.

Anyone else care to chime in about Nicholas Brendon?
