TJ You've heard the theory that all people are only separated by a mere seven different people - seven degrees of separation. The objective here is to connect two actors who have starred in separate movies based upon novels and connect them to each other through other actors with which they have acted through a maximum of seven people. The further disconnected they may seem the better. Then once you solve the “problem” you get to post the next connection. Remember, you can do it in less than seven, but that’s the maximum. I’ve started with an easy one as an example:

Gregory Peck who starred in “To Kill a Mockingbird” and Matthew McConaughey who starred in “A Time to Kill.” Both movies based upon novels about lawyers defending clients in a very controversial case.

Gregory Peck was also in “Cape Fear” with Robert DeNiro
Robert DeNiro was in “Analyze This” with Billy Crystal
Billy Crystal was in “Parental Control” with Marisa Tomei
Marisa Tomei was in “The Lincoln Lawyer” with Matthew McConaughey

Get the picture? Next connection:

Reginald Owen (A Christmas Carol – 1938) and Patrick Stewart (A Christmas Carol – 1999)

You could have done it in one. They were both in a movie called "The Survivors." (And I see we've veered off the "based on a novel" part of the instructions.)

TJ You're right, we have veered off the based on a novel part. Easy to do when you get into the thread. But it's still fun to do.
