I really do not want Dimitri to die.... but, if he does, I am happy to know Rose will have someone to come back home too.

i want to cry at the fact that dimitri might die, but adrian sounds sexy and really wants to be with her but what if what happened to her mom happens to her

I would probly be more pissed than sad if Dimitri dies, and then be just plain grummpy for a while.....idk.....But still sad. And it takes ALOT for a book, or anything, to get me to cry.

You may be on to something, but I think Adrian will have a different role in helping out rose get Dimitri back. Remember when he set her up an account, well most places like hotels require a credit card right. I think he told them to give her a visa check card from said account and will be monitoring where here purchases are there for know about where she is. I also think that he will then relay the info to Lisa who will get over herself and take Christan, and Eddie to try and bring Rose back. When that does not work I think they will try to help her complete her goal of killing Dimitri, only to figure out a way to bring him back to life. I mean think about he isn't dead and is not alive either, but you can kill the undead for good taking them out from undead category and putting them in the dead one. So if you can kill the undead why can't they also be brought back life somehow or their soul returned to them.

I don't think rose and adrian will end up because rose and dimitri were a rele good couple and Richelle will find away in Blood Promise to make Rose and Dimitri be together at last or something like that. she wouldnt just give up on rose and dimitris relation ship. and the new girl[who ever it is:] will prolly wnd up dating adrian and all

I liked Adrian better than Dimitri. Yes Dimitri was great, good looking, intelligent, loves Rose, blah blah blah, but I don't think he sees all that she is the same way Adrian does. Dimitri is drawn to the good qualities Rose posses, but ignores the bad or tries to change them. Adrian, on the other hand, first noticed Rose's dark side, and was intrigued by it. He sees her temper, experiences it first hand, her selfishness, etc. and he loves her anyway, perhaps because of those things, and he doesn't try to change her. She can be herself with him. She wouldn't have to give anything up to be with him either. But I'm a sucker for the bad ones.

to an extent heather you have a point, i dont think dimtri trys to change it on purpose he understand the potential she has to be a gurdian and to be the best gurdain some of those dark qualities have to go and she understands that. also i wonder if what happened to roses mom might happen to her if she chooses adrian.

I don't think Adrian would leave Rose. I truly think he loves her. He is even willingly helping her find Dimitri, even though it could break his heart if she finds him. And in order for Rose to be with Lisa, either Dimitri or Rose would have to give something up in their chosen life or profession if not both of them. I guess I just enjoyed the chemistry between Rose and Adrian better, and the seemed to be on more equal footing in my opinion.

yeah, i agree that Adrien is good for Rose, he loves her even though he has seen her dark side, and he just loves her for her. Like, he never uses compolsion on her, and helped her with the Victor problem.

But, I also think that Dimitri is good for her too.

In the end, it's close, but after what you just pointed out, Adrien is BETTER for her. doesn't mean she will fall in love with him.

It would really suck and it is probably going to happen, but people aren't giving Adrian a chance. Sure Dimitri is like a god and is perfect for Rose, but he is gone and I think Adrian will be good for Rose too if she gives him a chance. Just a thought

I agree with you but I also liked Dimitri a lot. He helped Rose become as strong as she is, but I think she will have to kill him and Adrian will be there waiting for her and to help her through it, and that is when she will fall for him.

I think Heather is right he is helping her even though he knows if she finds Dimitri he wont have a chance and it must be even harder because he heard everything when they were in the hallway. I believe it was during the time Dimitri was saying she acts to young and blah blah blah. He always worried about her being so 'young'!

I totally agree with heather. Adrian was a lot more interesting than Dimitri. Dimitri was just too perfect. I think it'd be good for Rose to move on from Dimitri and end up with Adrian

Yeah, I agree......but, lets just say, Dimtri comes back? Would you be mad if Rose went with him and left Adrien? I wouldn't. I wouldn't think it is the smartest way to go, but I really wouldn't be mad at her.

I don't think Dimitri was perfect and he new he wasn't, but i think we perceive him as being perfect because the book is from rose's point of view and she thought he was perfect.

just like it makes adrian out to be worse than dimitri.and thats because rose is truly in love with dimitri and always will be. even that times she tried to have sex with mason, dimitri was on her mind. We really just have to face that she wants to be with dimitri. adrian is going to end up with her. rose is going to go kill dimitri. the book wouldve never made adrian promise rose to come back for him when she was done if they werent going to end up together. and the queen not approving and saying they would just be like every other dhampir/moroi pair. well theyre going to be different. theyre going to stay together

Adrian may still act like a fool but for some reason Richelle Mead hasn't really explained yet, he has cared for Rose from the first time he laid eyes on her... and has made that fact obvious. Plus she is drawn to him and although she truely loves Dimitri right now a part of her is intriged by Adrian. I think that the fact that the Queen disaproves of them is an even bigger fact that is will probably happen. I think that if Rose, Adrian, Lissa, and Christian all survive the big battle that is coming, Adrian will give up his right to the throne so he can be with Rose and I think that the Queen will get over her prejudices toward Christian and his family, and I think Christian and Lissa will take the throne.

Even though Adrian really cares for Rose it doesn't mean she will definately fall for him. In the second book she tried so hard to be with Mason but she couldn't because all she could think about was Dimitri. I don't know if she can let herself love Aridan the way she loved Dimitri. And in the 3rd book Rose didn't promise Adrian she'd come back.

u know what i think? i was all for demitri and was ready to fight u guys to prove my point (not literaly) but then i read what u have to say and some of you if not all have really good points, but then i go back to there cant be a true love if both dont love each other and ross deffinetly dosnt love adrian the only reason she is drawn to him was the compolsion even if he does not use it on her it is still in efect around him like how lissa unconsiosly makes people like her and listen to what she says.

There is a huge difference between Adrian and Mason. Sure Rose tried to make herself like Mason, but Mason didn't think like Rose does. He was "The nice guy with and irrational side" but Adrian has a slightly darker side like Rose does and I think it makes them see things the same way. They think alike. Mason was young and immature about a few things and that got him killed in the end, but Adrian is little older and he may drink a lot to help deal with his spirit powers and act like a horny jerk sometimes, but he at least looks at things like an adult would...responsably and thinking things through before he acts.

she is making a fifth book i dont think its quite that simple as killing dimitri and she lives happily ever after with adrian, and dimitri as long hair that cant be him on the cover its probably adrian.

All Rose did was try to impress him. And there isn't any reason, really, for Rose to be with him. He doesn't, DOESN'T understand her. But with Adrian, you get someone who Rose can be herself around, goofing of, and all. Dimitri is too strict, too serious, too... BORING. Adrian is so much better. You know, like the way Voldermort is better than Harry (who should have DIED). Whatever Richelle Mead writes, Rose will always will be with Adrian in my mind.

Adrian isn't a guardian. He doesn't have a responsibility, he doesn't have to go around and save moroi from strigoi. Dimitri had to act like that but he did loosen up a little when Rose was around. She always got him to laugh or at least smile. I think Rose and Dimitri understood each other more than you think. They didn't even have to say anything and they would know what each other was feeling. I agree with you SKye on something thought whatever Mead writes, Rose will always be with DIMITRI in my mind.
