Amazon released a Kindle iPhone app today. It can be used standalone or in conjunction with a Kindle. It provides synchronization if you read books on multiple devices.
No landscape mode, no notes or annotations, no searching, no personal content (not even the e-mail service offered the Kindle as far as I could tell).
Anyone actually use a Kindle?
