Willow wrote: "So what is this about Clint and His Kind?"
Seemed to have missed your post Willow sorry about that. Clint is one of those special crazy ubers as you found out ;) There's a thread called Alphas You Love to Hate or something along those lines--can't remember--anyway that's where you'll probably find other over the top ubers. I was thinking of starting a separate thread but I forgot that that one was already going. So feel free to post there if you know of any others to add to the list (Clint's just a personal fave of mine--lol!)
Well that Guhrke book turned out to be fantastic! Now I'm trying to finish up Enoch's Griffin family series with Something Sinful.
That Enoch book turned out to be a dud which is weird because pretty much everything I've read by her has been 4 stars plus. Now I'm reading David Ebershoff's The 19th Wife A Novel.

I just finished Gabriel West by Fiona Brand it was great! New Zealand SAS soldier was the male lead. Yummy!

Christina - With every Stephenie Meyer book, I've had to give her about 200-250 pages before I got into the story. The girl likes her exposition, I guess.

Her writing is very vivid that's for sure.
I'm trying to read The Mom's Guide to Growing Your Family Green..., but been traveling (again), so reading has been a challenge. What I've read of it I like!
Well Glory in Death didn't have enough romance so I'm hoping things will spice up with Jaci Burton's Dare To Love.
I'm reading "Heat Seeker" by Lora Leigh. It's the latest in her Elite Ops/Tempting SEALs series. Really though, the Elite Ops is a continuation of the Tempting SEALs and I think it is misleading to change the series name. The characters and earlier stories are carried into Elite Ops and some may become frustrated with not catching the backstories. Recommend reading Tempting SEALs series FIRST, then Elite Ops...
Oh, how did you like the Midnight Breed books Silvana? I want to check them out but have heard such different opinions from people. Either they loved them because they were so much like the BDB books or they hated them because they were too similar to the BDB books.

Alycia, I have to admit that I wasn’t a fan of the first book in the series but I slowly got into it. I think it’s an easy read with some similar elements to BDB and some refreshingly different elements as well. For example, these vamps can’t dematerialize. I just finished my favorite of the seriesMidnight Rising. I’m a sucker for scarred tortured heroes so I was practically drooling over Rio. I will defiantly continue the series although if I had to rate what I’ve read so far it would be BDB and a very, very close second Immortal After Dark (By Kresley Cole) then The Darkest Night By Gen Showalter followed by Midnight Breed. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any recommendations as well. I’m enjoying Cry Wolf and I hear good things about the Night Huntress series.
Silvana,I have tried to read the series that includes the darkest night, but I have preferred the alien huntress books by Gena Showalter. I definitely have been told to check out Kreseley Cole's series, glad to know you recommend it too. I am pretty new to the world and the only series I have read a lot of would be the Sookie Stackhouse series, BDB series, the Queen Betsy Series by MaryJanice Davidson, and the Hex series by Linda Wisdom. The last two are a lighter PNR series. I have The Edge of Hunger series on deck to read by Rhyannon Byrd. I have heard great things about this series. I also want to check out Molly Harper's series, I have heard good things, and I have heard mixed things, but still would like to try The final prophesy by Jessica Anderson. I will let you know what I think of these new series once I start them. Thank you so much for all your recommendations!!!
I just finished Cry Wolf loved it! Thanks Josie. But after reading the excerpt at the back for the Mercedes Thompason series also by Patricia Briggs I realized I want to read Mercy's story next. Does anyone know if it's alright to switch between the two series
I think Cry Wolf might provide some mild spoilers for the Mercy series, but there's no reason you couldn't read the Mercy series now.

Will do.Thanks for the info.
I'm reading the first book of a new series by Joan Johnston. It's called Outcast. So far, it's really good.
I'm reading the new Jaz Parks book "Bite Marks" and am loving it!!! Jennifer Rardin is such a great author!!
I'm reading Judith McNaught's third book in the Westmoreland series Until You. Not that great especially after the first two that were 5 star reads.

I just begin to read THE PRINCE AND THE PANTHER by Shiree McCarver. I have already read THE LORD AND THE SCORPION. I love the book. It was very good. It was my second historian interracial book.
I've moved on to what's turning out to be the next addition to the hot alphas list :D Anna Campbell's Tempt the Devil.
