Who in the heck are we?

The friends I've added here are the ones whose names I recognize or can figure out from the SDMB. Being the shy, non-intrusive type, I feel presumptuous just asking to be friends if I don't know you.
So - who are we?
Mr Bus Guy
I am me. I do what it says on the label.(Except I don't post on the Dope anymore, so maybe people don't know who I am.)
Purl, why don’t you post? (I’ve been posting a lot less myself, having had to concentrate on my actual job).I’m Dung Beetle, of course.

There seemed to be a lot of undiluted nastiness on the boards when I left, and it was making it unpleasant for me to read there. Like a thread could be going along nicely, and then whammo! Down the crapper. And then the administration went all crazy up in there, and I really have no desire to go back.
AuntiePam -- the Dope is (after almost 10 years) losing its luster for me too, but the monthly book threads are still quite satisfying. I've found a couple of book boards but (except for SFF World) they're way too structured.

I made my own Pit. It's called my "thissucked" shelf.
I hope you all visit Domebo.net to. jsgoddess/Julie started a thread about goodreads there.

Hi Larry et al.
I am... Mark (Arf!) Oddly, I am now posting on SDMB after quite a while as, being poor, I couldn't afford the $. So it's a shame that so many people who happen to be here, are no longer posting so much as they made the SD what is was / is for me... >sniff<
Anyhoo, now that the people on GR have done a great job fixing the glitches, I'll be back here more often (I have little patience with techno that fails to do it's job!)
So, if my books resonate, feel free to add :-)
Cheers
Well phooey! I edited my Friends list today -- it was too large to be useful -- and deleted names I didn't recognize, a few of whom are in this group. I knew I should have checked this thread first. Sigh.
I'm OneCentStamp, but I haven't posted to the SDMB since sometime in 2008, having migrated to Mellophant.
If you like my books or my reviews (or even if you hate them and just want to argue), please feel free to add me, whether we know each other on the SDMB or not; this is its own world.
