Interesting story Brent, I really like the way it keeps shuffling the elements around; it creates this weird kind of underwater depth to a scene(s). I should have put the links to my stories above. Here they are: http://www.wordriot.org/template_2.php?I...and http://www.wordriot.org/template.php?ID=...
(if that works)
Thanks for putting this together, Jackie. My short short is called "The Cracks and Strains." It's here: http://www.wordriot.org/template_2.php?I...My other story links are at http://gatherrroundchildren.com under the "fictions" tab.
The short story, "Why I Married My Wife" (since revised and retitled "Spinning the Wheel of the Quivering Meat Conception") was posted in August 2002. It also appeared in the "Word Riot 2002" anthology and is included in my collection of short stories and essays, "When Pacino's Hot, I'm Hot," published by The Drill Press.Thank you, Jackie.
