721021 What are you doing right now?

I'm watching How To Lose a Guy in Ten Days on cable. I'm not proud of that.

966475 Right now I'm not reading Reading Comics and thinking about making tea.

289556 I am ignoring Chris' Spanish-language Saturday afternoon TV programs.

message 4: by Sally , masters master(er) (new)

966475 Destinos?

message 5: by Larry (new)

1144499 I'm doing this and procrastinating taking a shower so I can go to the grocery store and not be embarrassed because I stink.

289556 Sally wrote: "Destinos?"

No, some El Salvadoran TV station showing videos and teens talking about music. They just showed an Eminem video. Is he still around?

message 7: by Sally , masters master(er) (new)

966475 I believe he has a new album coming out soon, as a matter of fact. Perhaps Chris knows.

message 8: by Jane (new)

71439 Stumped on a story re-write, so using GR as a distraction.

message 9: by Larry (new)

1144499 We're so glad we can help with that.

1757741 i am working on something i am writing also. and checking ESPN sharing my chair with my dog Lucy and a laptop.

message 11: by Larry (new)

1144499 Your dog uses a laptop?

1757741 yes but she has trouble with the touchpad

message 13: by Larry (new)

1144499 I bet.

1757741 she keeps watching White Fang clips on YouTube.

message 15: by Larry (new)

1144499 The bitch!

message 16: by Cosmic Sher (new)

1639357 I'm making pineapple upside cake for my ... well, that guy I live with... and making thumbprint cookies with my daughter (when I can distract her from dancing around like crazy to Sammy Hagar), and reading The Tao of Physics on my smokebreak.

I love Valentine's Day. ::heart-ing everyone!::

1757741 my youngest son is fixing chicken enchilada's for his sweetheart currently and my wife is working on wedding flowers ( i have 2 kids getting married this summer ) while i struggle with my valentine's day poem to my sweetie. i did get her a huge piece of special cherry cordial cheesecake, a really cool Peruvian bracelet, some bath and body works stuff she loves and i am planning on taking her parking in my truck later :)

message 18: by Cosmic Sher (new)

1639357 The Barbarian is such a romantic!

1757741 girls are suckers for pick-up trucks

message 20: by Matt (new)

1569525 Haha, you're a swell guy, Kevin!

1639357 Oh you have no idea. ;)

1757741 what sherrie? i am not?

message 23: by Cosmic Sher (new)

1639357 Um, a sucker for pick-up trucks? I don't know... are you?

1757741 no dangit! a swell guy

message 25: by Julie (new)

436793 Damn. I am working overtime and in between clients right now. Wish I was home.
But I hate valentines day anyway, so might as well work.

message 26: by Cosmic Sher (new)

1639357 Kevin, you are a swell guy. (sooths the male ego)

Julie, work is temporary and then you can go home and have valentine's day for yourself. That's what I always used to do when I was living by myself. (not to imply that you are by yourself, just saying...)

1757741 Happy Saturday Julie !!!!

message 28: by RandomAnthony (new)

721021 Right now I'm watching The Godfather. I needed a day like this.

1757741 thanks for the ear scratch sherrie

289556 I'm heading to the video store (DVD store?) to get either Vicky Cristina Barcelona or In Bruges. I hope, anyway.

message 31: by Sally , masters master(er) (new)

966475 Oh dude, Jackie. In Bruges rocks. But I was just hopping online to see if Netflix would let me watch Vicky Christina Barcelona so you should watch that too!

289556 Sally! :D

message 36: by RandomAnthony (new)

721021 Scarlett and Penelope...

:D

1757741 I love Shrinky-Dinks! do they still make them? back when you had activities that involved high heat and large amounts of molten plastic. remember those aluminum molds that you put in the melter deal to make those rubbery-plastic bugs with?

great name sherrie

message 38: by Cosmic Sher (new)

1639357 I loved those! I never got to play with the rubber bug thingies, prolly cause I am a giiiiiirl. Although, I never got an EZ-Bake Oven either. Maybe it has something to do with the correlation between extreme high heat and my clutziness. Not a good combo.

I figured the name fit... oh, and I'm only 5'2", so it's appropo.

1757741 come to think of it, most of my childhood toys had something to do with fire or high heat. the bug things sorta smelled like hair burning when you made them.

yup. fits

289556 I loved Shrinky-Dinks, but never had an EZ Bake Oven. I think I just used the regular oven, because I remember making cookies a lot in jr. high.

2030089 Hello everyone, I'm new here. Trying to make friends that like to read!

Right now I'm drinking iced green tea and chatting with my dad. =)

message 42: by Matt (new)

1569525 In my sister's West Village apartment. I arrived here yesterday. I'm leaving tomorrow.

message 43: by Larry (last edited Feb 14, 2009 07:34PM) (new)

1144499 Hey. Welcome, Karencilla. Be forewarned that the people on Terminal Coffee are not normal. Don't worry, though, the regulars are all harmless.

Maple syrup?

message 45: by Karencilla (new)

2030089 hahah thanks Larry for the warning. I guess that i'm not normal at all!

btw nice to meet you

message 46: by Logan (new)

70078 I'm alternating between getting gussied up for some shindig we're going to and watching last night's BSG. BSG is winning so far. It's always better to be fashionably late, right?

message 47: by Larry (new)

1144499 Karencilla wrote: "btw nice to meet you"

You, too.

message 48: by Karencilla (new)

2030089 =)

message 49: by Matt (last edited Feb 14, 2009 07:42PM) (new)

1569525 No strange odours, Larry. At least, nothing out of the ordinary. Just the sound of hipsters shouting to each other on the sidewalk.

Sorry to disappoint.

message 50: by Karencilla (new)

2030089 I'm bored.. nothing to do.
