I absolutely loved this book! I think the way the author managed the themes about life and the beauty of youth was great, and the romance as well as the relationships between Jacob and the other characters really kept me going throughout the novel. I would totally recommend it!
Just started and love it ! I think the circus bits are really interesting though how his parents died was so sad! I find the parts when he is old to be so sad as he cannot seem to do anything by himself. I am up to the bit where he is having a shower on the day when he is going to go to the circus.
Finished now, and loved it so much I rated it five stars! I thought it was a sad but happy book, I was smiling and feeling teery at the end.
