706516 When I first saw this book in the book store I was like what?!?! lol It just seemed like such a funny idea. Why would anyone get a book that tells them how to talk about books they haven't read with other people who haven't read the same book? Seems a bit pointless to me. Don't be lazy and just read the books!!! :D

664332 It is funny, but this is a serious book (about books).

Despite the attention-getting title, it's not really about how to get away with not reading, but more a discussion of how we talk about literature; the larger view of cultural literacy.

One can't read all the books, but this one might be worth a skim :)

Nophoto-m-25x33 At first glance this book was terrible. I found on Page 120 he reveals a lot of what he is trying to accomplish with the book. The book reveals the social aspects that we use to judge books by ie reading/skimming/sharing/teaching/lecturing. Also, the books describes the inner most feeings we have when reading books whether they be angst/disinterest/low self confidence/ ect.
