LOL..I think this is the only challenge I completed this month...I don't think I'll be able to finish even the REad-the-Month or any of the monthly challenges...LOL
Stop it guys! It's no biggie, just another challenge... Now, if I had the monthly one finished as well - that would be a feat (for me). But no. So...
HA! Done, on the last day, but done...
lol Thanks Jane. I wasn't sure I was gonna make it. I did get 6/10 done on this, with 3 of the last 4 books started.

Thanks Yz. I did get the read the month for April and the April monthly challenge completed. I just couldn't get all 3 in.
I am not going to be able to finish this challenge. I'm only halfway through the novel I'm reading and it's a long one and it's taking me awhile to slowly go through the cookbook as I copy down recipes as I go for ones I'd like to try. This one has interesting history to read along with the recipes. But I doubt I'll get either of those finished, and no time to start on the other two. So I'll have to settle for 6/10 on this one.

Me, too. It wasn't until I noticed the deadline and I didn't have many books left to fill it, I decided to prioritize it.
Doesn't it feel fulfilling to complete a challenge..or is that just me?...LOL

That's why I put a copy of all my challenges under my own reading thread. I can't forget one that way and they are easy to find and update. I just have to remember to repost to the correct thread now and then to update here.
Of all the book I'm reading this month only one fits. LOL and when my comp was down I didn't read but two books and they don't fit bummer. I'll just add these books to my reading list as a reminder.
Nice work Shazzy! Jael, I'm sure some of the books you've read could cover a category for this challenge, or two...
LOL...no worries..
I doubt if I'll finish this challenge myself, although I'm keeping my fingers crossed..
All done!

Sounds a bit like something Montgomery would write and all the Anne books have special place in my heart... :)
I'm finishing the Heart of Texas series by Debbie Macomber. She originally wrote 6. Then after requests from fans, wrote two more. Of the 8, I have one left now having finished book 7 tonight.
The new series I'll start is her Cedar Cove series. Every title is an address, each starting numberically....
16 Lighthouse Road
204 Rosewood Lane
311 Pelican Court
44 Cranberry Point
50 Harbor Street
Hearts Divided Anthology (5-B Popply Lane)
6 Rainier Drive
74 Seaside Avenue
8 Sandpiper Way
A Cedar Cove Christmas
And she's been contracted for at least 4 more books I think. She asked readers to write in and suggest what she should do with the numbered books once she reaches 10+. She has a map I printed off from her website showing the town and where all the houses and common city buildings are.
