Guess what? My copy of Warlord came in the mail today. Not sure of when I'll get to start it, but I'll definitely have it done before the end of the month
I'm hoping to get to it soon. I'm almost done The Accidental Sorcerer. Once that's done, I have a "Buddy Read" with Crystal, then I have one with Dena. This month is busy, busy, busy!
I am picking up my copy of Warlord tomorrow. I hope to start reading then. Nothing like waiting till the last minute!
LOL, tell me about it. I was hoping the bookstore had Hope's Folly on order, but they didn't. Therefore, I'm going to have to order it this Friday, which means I won't get it until next Friday. I'll be late with that one for sure... :(
I now have all 3 of Linnea Sinclair's books that were part of Hope's Folly. Is Gabriel's Ghost the first in the series?
Yeppers. It is Gabriel's Ghost (Book 1), Shades of Dark (Book 2), and Hope's Folly (Book 3). There are other books in the same universe, but these three are a set. I like this series so much I plan to read the others as I find them.
I will start with Gabriel's Ghost as soon as I finsih Second Sight. I figured I would alternate between the 2 series. One set in the past, then one set in the future, and so on :)
Interesting approach. I am going to make a prediction. Once you start with the Dock 5 set, you will read all three in a row. Here is my reasoning: The Arcane Society is like a crock pot stew whose flavors slowly build through the cooking process (each subseqent book), The Dock 5 series is like a m&m's, you can't just eat one. Each is a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting to know what comes next.
