Take the apple
Bite her hard
She likes it
When her flesh
Nestled between teeth
Is slowly compressed
Crystals popping
Like shattering windows
Like when a building falls
Apple skin mulch consisting of
Interlocking fibers
Falling into place
Like compacted trash
Bundles of skin
And deflated grain
Left to be picked up
By the tongue
And thrown to the acidic
Rivers of the gut.
