Playing poker with my heart,
dreaming of all the cards I sought
from King to Queen
and the time between
Then I fold, and how I knew.
Finally, my game was through.
Drew a picture of my perfect hand
Then before me saw you stand
All this time waiting
the hand I was saving,
dealt you one sweet round
and in it I am found.
Tossing in all my chips
Just by chance I’ll taste that kiss
I won the game with my royal flush,
but I didn’t think it’d take that much

It's always good to have a great hand--especially when you need it. Thanks for letting me read your poetry.

I'm not one for Poetry, but I liked the images of this one. It's all a game isn't it.
