I see you with the other girls--
she tousles your hair,
and you smile
but, it's all superficial,
isn't it?
I wish those girls would stop,
don't they understand,
I want you!
I wish we could be closer--
eventhough our houses are only two miles apart,
age puts a gap between us,
it is not just a number,
it is a divider.
Separating people,
loves,
lives,
losses,
four years, honey,
it isn't that much.
But you'll be going away soon
and I'll be stuck here,
seeing things that remind me of you,
laughing at that time you felt my scarf,
missing those moments of laughter shared
but I can't believe you just passed me by--
without a hello
or goodbye
