It's not like we made a promise to each other. Actually we didn't even talk about it. The only promise was that i would come back to her. So the fact that she kissed Heath doesn't mean she doesn't love me anymore. Right?

I fell on to my bed and my back hit something hard. I heard the crack of glass when I fell. I stood back up and saw the picture of Sabrina and I cracked down the middle on my bed. My heart ached as I picked up the picture. I sat down on my bed and threw the picture across the room. It hit the wall and crashed to the floor spreading glass across the floor. My father was coming. There was a knock on my door.

"What was that?" My dad asked through the door.

"I dropped a picture. It's okay though." I yelled to the door.

"You sure you don't need any help cleaning it up?" He asked.

"No it's okay."

I walked over to the picture and threw it in the trash. I would clean up the glass in the morning. Right now all I wanted to do was sleep. I laid down on my bed and folded my hands on my chest. I stared at the ceiling trying to concentrate on the little pattern that was there. With my luck my mind slipped. I just wonder if the broken picture was a sign, that we weren't meant to be. I thought she was the one though. My uncle told me that with my extra sense I would be able to find my true love easier and I would know when I found her. I thought I did but if she doesn't want me it's not her. How could she say she loves me then go run back to Heath? It didn't make sense and my heart was crushed. Just like our picture. I missed her too much. I knew that it wasn't right to get mad at her for dating Heath because we never said anything about not dating. So what she was doing was fine, but I was still hurt. Then I got an idea. Why can't I get a girlfriend? It sounded like a good plan. And if Sabrina is done with me it will be fine because I will have a girlfriend.

The bell rang and everyone rushed out of the cold and into the heated school. I was walking with one of my new friends, Carter Noles.

"So your just going to forget her and get a new girl?" He asked astonished. "I thought you really loved her."

"I did. But I've decide to find a girl here instead. I mean we are juniors and I probably wont be able to go back to her until I get out of high school. I don't want to be alone for a year and a half."

We were at our lockers. Ya we have lockers next to each other, thats how we met.

"Well, that makes sense. Who are you going to try to get?" he asked interested.

"Try? Oh trust me, whoever I choose I will get." I smiled a sly smile.

"Uh-oh, here comes Landon Night, ladies watch out." Carter said as I walked to my class.

In each of my classes I looked at the girls and listened to their thoughts. Sometimes I even talked to them. I didn't really find anyone until 5th period math. I was listening to the girl in front of me when someone was thinking my name. My head turned to a girl walking into the classroom.

...Landon Night will be mine. He is so hot and is just my type. Bad.

She sat down and then locked eyes with me. She had big gorgeous chocolate eyes. Her hair was dark brown and had big long curls. She had tan hispanic skin. Her lips her big and shiny. She smiled and waved at me just before he bell rang. I wouldn't be able to talk to her or pass her a note because she was in the next row 3 seats down. I would talk to her as soon as the bell rang. When it did I met her at the door.

"Hey I'm Landon Night," I said.

So he is into me. This will be a breeze.

She smiled back, "I'm Amber Castro. You're new here right?"

"Ya and I was hoping you and I could get to know each other." I said.

I know you do.

"Is that a invitation?" She asked.

"Yes, are you accepting?"

"Yes, I am. You can pick me up Friday at 8." She shut her locker and walked away.

I smiled to my self and walked to 6th period. I sat in my seat next of one my other new friends, Erik Smith.

"I got a girl." I said.

"No way man! Who?"

"Amber Castro." I said with a sly smile.

"Dude she has a bad reputation. You don't want her."

I looked him in the eye. "What if I do?"

His eyes widened and he sat back in his chair. I felt good. I had the perfect girl.
