My eyes flew open at the sound of my alarm. I realized the day ahead of me and tears came to my eyes. I quickly blinked them away. It was 6:40 and I had at 30 till Lacey, Krissy and Ashton would arrive. I got out of bed and walked to my closet.

I grabbed my gray, aphrodite, side pleat, tank top dress. It had a cute light pink ribbon tied in a bow under the chest. I put on my gray sweater jacket and my simple light pink flats. I had washed my hair the night before and decided to straighten my hair. I had recently got bangs straight across my forehead, so today I decided to wear them down. After straighting, I put my hair up half up, half down. More down then up though. I put on my new heavier make up and walked down stairs.

My mom looked at me and frowned, "Are you ready for today?"

"I think so," I looked at the clock above the stove. It was 7:10. Lacey showed me here any minute.

"I'm sorry it had to happen like this. You had a crazy day yesterday."

"Ya, a whole lot of surprises." I smiled thinking of me and my mom's conversation yesterday morning.

She laughed, "Well today I am going to see how my cancer is doing. Hopefully we get a good surprise."

"Don't worry we will." I grabbed a granola bar. There was a car honk outside.
"Bye mom," I kissed her on the cheek and started walking to the door. "Good luck," I called.

"You too," she called back.

I walked to Lacey car and got into the backseat. Ashton was sitting next to me. Lacey and Krissy looked at me like they felt bad at me. I looked at Ash to see he was doing the same thing. "What heck guys?"

"Sabrina, Landon's leaving today." Lacey said to me like I was stupid.

"Um, I know. I'm not breaking down now, but if you speak about it again, I might."

"Okay we won't say anymore." Lacey sighed and backed out my driveway. The whole 8 minute drive was silent.

When we got to his house we parked by the curb. There was a moving truck in their drive way that was about to take off. When it did we walked to the door and Ashton knocked. A older man opened the door and I figured it was Landon's dad.

"Hey kids you must be Landon's friends," He smiled a friendly smile. "I just have to ask one thing.Which one of you is Sabrina?" He asked not noticing Landon that just walked up behind him. Landon and I locked eyes and I'm sure I blushed. "Oh, I'm guessing it's the blushing dirty blonde." He laughed. "Nice to meet you guys." He walked away revealing Landon.

"Morning guys," Landon said cheerfully.

Ash burst into tears, "Landon! " He hugged Landon and Landon looked completely terrified by his surprise attack. "We are going to miss you so much!" he cried.

"I'll miss you too Ashton." He said confused.

Ashton let go and backed away." Sorry I just can't handle these moments."

"It's okay man." Landon said as he stepped out of his door way. "Let's talk out here guys." Landon walked over to the driveway where their car now sat.

His parents walked out the house, which was a sign that we didn't have much more time. My heart sank. I was finally letting all my emotions come out.

Krissy hugged him, "I'm glad i met you and will miss you!" I could hear some tears in her voice. She let go.

"I will miss you too. I really like your mother personality." Landon said. She laughed and thanked him.

Krissy was next. She hugged him. "You are so awesome and I wish you could stay." She let go and smiled at him.

"I'll miss you Lacey, even though you hated me in the begining." He smiled at her.

She laughed "Oh ya, sorry about that."

Then he looked at me. The tears started spilling over. I didn't want this to happen. I didn't think it was going to be this hard. We just looked at each other for a few minutes. My heart was quickly crumbling and the tears were now pouring down. I ran the few feet between us and wrapped my arms around him. I was sobbing into his shoulder. He held me tightly against him and rested his head on mine. My heart was slowly detireating and I knew I wouldn't be able to breath when he was gone.

"I love you Sabrina," He said. I felt wetness on my head and looked up at him. His eyes were red and he was crying too.

"I love you too Landon," my voice broke. My world was slowly crashing and all I want was to stay in his arms. "Please," I stopped because I started sobbing again.

"I know, I don't want to go but I have no choice," I could hear the tears in his voice.

" I just can't live with--" I lost my voice in the tears.

"Please just try to live without me," He said quietly.

I pressed my self against him and cried more. I didn't want him to go. I couldn't believe how hard this was. It was like ripping my heart out and leaving it somewhere. I felt the tears from him falling into my hair. His weren't as violent as mine but they wer pouring down silently. Then thunder rolled from the sky and rain started coming down.

" I promise you, I will find a way to you if it kills me," He whispered.

I laughed a little through the tears and rain remembering when he sang in the park.

He laughed lightly, "I really do love you Sabrina."

"I know, I love you too. It's a feeling inside that keeps building." I smiled up at him.

He hugged me tightly one last time then let me go. Both of us were soaked from the rain. He took my hands and we started leaning closer, just like yesterday. And then... "I'll miss you," he whispered. his lips just brushed against mine when he spoke. I kissed him on the cheek and backed away. Another roll of thunder came.

He waved to all of us and got into the car with his parents. I looked at Ashton, Krissy, and Lacey who had tears streaming down their faces and they too were soaked.

"You guys are so cute," Krissy cried and hugged me.

I hugged her back. We ran to Lacey's car. I looked out the window at the falling rain. trying not to think about what had just happened. No one spoke until I realized where we were going. "We are skipping school?" I asked.

"Sabrina I'm not going to make you go to school after that." Lacey said.

"I'm fine. I can make it through a day." I said wiping away any tears.

"No you can't Sabrina I know you," She said as she pulled into her driveway.

I sighed and got out of the car. We all went inside her empty house. Both her parents had gone to work and she had an older brother in college. She told us to wait while she go some towels. Once we were dry sat on the couch while Lacey got some snacks. I was sitting between Krissy and Ash.

"You two put a heartbreaking show," Ashton told me.

"I know," I said as the last piece of my heart crumbled. The The tears were back. I was sobbing. It hurt, my chest was in great pain and i had a headache from crying.

"Oh gosh Sabrina! I'm so sorry!" Ashton grabbed the small pillow next to him and put it on his lap. I knew what he was doing and layed my head on the pillow.

I tryed to control the tears but it wasn't working. Krissy slipped off my shoes and put my legs in her lap. Lacey walked in the living room with snacks and gasped. She quickly put the snacks on a table and grabbed a blanket. She put it on top of me.

"I told you Sabrina," she smiled at me sweetly and sat down in a chair next to the couch.

Lacey turned on the T.V. and started flipping through the channels. While trying to tame my tears I fell into deep unconsiousness.
