It takes up a lot of energy to be a compleatly different person then who you really are. Everybody is good at it, including me. People try so hard to fit in with a specific click, but during the whole "fit in" process they end up losing themselves in the process. I am one of those people. The girl who has everything but yet nothing.

As most people would say, I am in the "IN" group; you know the popular people, the people whow have all the fame, the type of people that you dream about being. Well it is not everything its cracked up to be. I have friends who talk behind my back and I talk about them behind their back; does that really sound like fun? No its not. See while you hang out with people who geniuilly like you for who you are; I'm hanging out with the vicious posers. When people say high school is hard, listen to them because it really is.

Monday Morning First Day of School:

As I was walking in the hall with green and white lockers on the sides of it (school colors)I get this awful feeling in my gut, typical first day nausea; everybody gets it (at least I think). I turn my head to see my best friend Kristen flirting with my boyfried Ron, again with the typical. For a best friend Kristen is a pretty sucky one,she talks dirt about me with our other friends and she constantly flirts with my boyfriend, but being bffs with her seems the most approiate thing to do. Suddenly the pain in my stomach feels unbearble and I feel like running in the bathroom to a stall and start crying. Sigh.

Kristen catches my eye and smiles.

Kristen: "HEY SARI"!!

Me:"HEY KRISTEN"!!

This is our greeting. Its basically screaming to the world about how mega popular we are and that we dont care who we step on, as long as we stay on top.

The pain in my stomach worsened.

Ron put his arm around my waist and kissed me on the cheek.

Ron whispers in Sari's ear: "Hey babe".

Ugh Ron. I know what you are thinking why go out with a guy who totally makes me gag, hes captain of every sports team in out school, not to mention his all Amercian good looks, but hes a total snob. It just seems the most approiate thing to do.

The pain is my stomach is getting worser. I think throwup is coming up my mouth.

I smile a fake smile

Me: "Hey".

Ron pulls me closer, our bodies are very close, he leans his head down and puckers his lips.

He is such a bad kisser.

What choice do I have? I lean my head toward his and we start making out. Man he druels a lot.

Kristen: "OMG five minutes into the new year and you two are already making out"?

Ron pulls his mouth from mine and looks in Kristen's direction

Ron: "You are just jealous because you are not as hot as Sari".

Kristen does have a jealous gleam in her eye.

I laugh to show he was kidding, I get out of his arms and wink at him. Then I walk over to Kristen and grab her her arm in mine and we both walk to first period.

Me: "He was just kidding".

Kristen doesnt say anything, she just nods.

I still see that jealous look in her eye. Talk about a bad friend.

But being friends with her is approite for me right???

I swallow back my throwup. Eww..
