I just still couldn't believe Faith could do things like this. I mean pretend in front of everybody that she was dumped for me just to e with Paul at the end of the day? I couldn't believe she could love anyone like this and I couldn't elieve that I agreed with her plan, too.

I was walking to put my book in the locker and get my art materials for our next class when I bumped into someone and dropped my book. I thought it must be Paul again but it wasn't.

"I'm sorry," he picked up my book and returned it.

He was gorgeous like Paul. And his eyes were enchanting like sudden warmth flowed inside me when I looked in them. I haven't seen him before.

"Um hi," he said with the most soothing voice I had ever heard.

"H -hi," I was frozen in place while he handed me the book.

He smiled and was to walk away when I turned and called him. I wasn't like this but some guts in me told me I must talk to him at least know his name.

"Hey!"

"W-what?" he looked back.

"Um..." I couldn't think of anything to ask or say to him.

"Y-you're just new here, aren't you?" I finally thought of something to say.

He nodded and smiled.

"I'm a junior," I said. What was I thinking? And so what if Im a junior. What is it to him? And now I noticed he looked mature enough to e a senior and so I gulped. What if he was a senior?

"I'm a junior, too," he smiled wider.

"My next class is under..." he pulled out a piece of unfolded paper from his book and read his schedule.

"Mrs. Tuffet," he looked back to me again.

"Art class?" I asked in surprise. It was my next class too. This is going good so far although I'm not sure why I'm glad he was to be my classmate.

"Yeah. Is that your next class, too?"

I nodded and smiled. I feel like I would blush.

"We could walk together if you'd like to," he asked me to walk with him? Okay. Of course, who wouldn't want to walk with him? He's totally gorgeous.

I was about to nod when the cheerleading team and the scorpions arrived in the hall. We were in the end of the building so they won't notice us. The cheerleaders gathered around Paul as usual. I wasn't with them because they will just chat all break time.

"Who's that?" I didn't notice him look at where I was looking at.

"Oh, um... that's Paul Whitman. He's the football captain that's why the..."

"cheerleadears gather around him?" he continued my sentence.

I smiled and nodded.

"He's in our next class," I added as a matter of fact.

"You know him?" he continued to ask.

"I... um he's... he's..." I don't know what to say. He's the boyfriend of my friend who's pretending to be my boyfriend as of now? That's confusing. I didn't know what to say when someone put an arm around my waist.

"I'm her boyfriend," Paul said and I was surprised. Why was he putting his arm around me? This is far from what we've talked about. I feel like I would faint with him beside me. My heart was pounding and I just wish they won't hear it then heat flushed my cheeks. I looked down. I knew I was blushing.

"Oh, hi," the new student said.

"Maybe it's better if I go now?" he asked me.

"What's you next class?" Paul asked.

"Arts class," he said.

"Well, you can walk with us," Paul offered. I looked up at him and he was smiling at the new student.

I was just glad he wasn't a jerk.
