"She won't stop, Cris. I'm afraid that she'll succeed in stealing Paul. You know I love him," Faith almost sobbed but she didn't.

They were in Faith's apartment and she was having another problem with Paul Whitman, her boyfriend. He was the school's hottest guy and the football captain of the "Scorpions", the school's football team. They were already together before sophomore graduation and they love each other though Faith still fears the possibilties that he'll be stolen from her since Trixie Layman, the cheerleading captain started flirting with Paul and trying to lure him to dump Faith and be with her instead.

Cris was best friends with Faith and she listened carefully to her sentiments though she was still hurt about it because she also loved Paul even before he courted Faith. But Faith never noticed Cris's true feelings for him.

"Cris! Are you listening?" she asked when she noticed Cris doodling something on the floor of her apartment.

"Yes, of course," Cris replied immediately and looked at her.

"So do you have any plan about getting rid of Trixie?" Cris asked.

"Well, you know getting rid of her is not that easy," Faith started thinking.

After a while of silence, Cris stood up and went to Faith's fridge to get a cup of ice cream and when she went back, Faith stared at her like she had already a brilliant plan in mind and something was telling her, she was a big part of it and she started to feel tensed.

"What?" but Faith just continued staring at her and that started to creep her out.

"Faith! You're creeping me out. Stop that!"

"I have a plan!" Faith declared.

"SO what's your brilliant plan?" Cris asked curiously as she put a spoonful of cold in her mouth.

"Well, Trixie is in the cheerleading team and she wouldn't dare go against anyone of her team mates, right?"

Cris was confused, she couldn't understand where she was going.

"So?" her brows met in confusion and curiosity.

She put another spoon of ice cream in my mouth.

"Cris, you're my best friend, right?"

"Of course I am and the point is?" Cris was getting more confused.

"You'll do anything for me, right? You'll be with me in this?" Faith said and Cris was getting more tensed. She was having a bad feeling about what Faith was about to ask her to do.

"But..."

"Please, Cris. I don't want to lose him. You know how much I love him," she was begging now.

Cris sighed and pitied her. She didn't have any other choice but to be with her in whatever her plan was.

"Fine," she finally said.

Faith leaped to her and hugged her but careful enough not to spill the ice cream on her floor.

"Thanks you very much, Cris," she smiled widely and with triumph.

"You're scaring me, Faith. Tell me the plan immediately so that I can start calming down," she said like she was in defeat.

"You'll be his new girlfriend," Faith said.

"What? Are you out of your mind, Faith Smith?" Cris was shocked.

"You'll just pretend for me. You already agreed in this already," she said and faith was taken aback.

"But you didn't tell me this will be an acting game. You know I'm not a good actress," Cris tried to escape from what Faith was planning.

"But Paul is. He can act for you and you'll just have to go with the flow," Faith continued.

Cris felt like she wanted to disappear that moment or go back in time and didn't agree to be in Faith's plans but she knew she couldn't.

"But you don't even know if Paul will agree with this. We're not that close, Faith," she tried another reason.

"Oh, but he will. I know him. He'll do anything for us to be still together," Faith was really convinced with her plan- that it was going to work.

Criselda felt defeated. She didn't know how it would go. She was afraid to act because it wouldn't be just an act for her. She didn't want Faith to notice how Cris really felt for Paul and that was going to be the biggest problem for her.
