Chingo- A black stallion, leader of Grassy plain herd.

Lionbuck- A dark sorrel mare. Chingo's oldest foal.

Dandelion- A sorrel mare. Chingo's mate, very strong.

Swifthoof- A perlino mare. Great with foals and pregnant mares.

Duranga- A strawberry roan mare. A worrywart. Mother of Dapple.

Jingle- A chestnut mare. Her voice practically sounds like a bell when she is happy.

Jewel- A bay mare. Overreacts quite a bit. Jingles daughter.

Dustyheart- A buckskin mare, with a black dusting on her rump. Jelly's mother.

Yellowback- A palomino mare. Hates snakes with a passion.

Candle- A chestnut mare, with a white candle-shaped marking on her forehead.

Marsh- A Oliver chestnut mare. The oldest mare in the herd.

Horsetail- A grulla mare. Has a very shaggy tail. Marsh's daughter.

Ginger- A chestnut mare. Can be stubborn. Mother of Tin-Tin.

Colby- A splashed white mare. Willing to do most things for others. Diamondeyes mother.

Jelly- A palomino filly. Kind of klutzy.

Tin-Tin- A appaloosa filly. Loves to eat.

Dapple- A dappled roan filly. Very adventurous.

Diamondeye- A tovero filly. Almost a full-fledged mare.
