I usually try to include a somewhat humorous story in a collection.Still, humor notwithstanding, this is a serious story that considers among other things, lust, racial prejudice, and a healthy helping of stereotypical thinking.

It all started with the gravy.A single extra serving of hot browm liquid poured lovingly and surreptitiously onto O'Hanlon's plate.Latasha had to be careful.Miss Sarah, the Amazon of a woman who oversaw the cafeteria at Jefferson State, did not take kindly to servers who were generous at her expense. Latasha would not be the first she had canned.

As the year progressed , Latasha became bolder and the portions on O'Hanlon's plate continued to grow. There was something sexual about the whole affair, and not only the obvious lust the attractive , black, nineteen year old had for glutinous ,white-faced O'Hanlon. Each extra helping appeared carefully chosen, to lead O'Hanlon down a well-worn path, that came to an abrupt halt at Latasha's ample bosom.
